Soon after the next mission Goose and I decided to tell Maverick.
"Hey Mav?" I said as we walked out of Vipers office again
"Phoenix" he replied
"We have to tell u something" I said looking at Goose and smiling, goose looked like he was about to burst with excitement so I decided I would say it instead of Goose,
"Me and Goose are getting married!" I said
"Really?! Shit, YES!" He replied hugging us. Goose kissed me as we all laughed about stupid things.
That night at the bar, Maverick got extremely drunk, me and Goose were holding him up
"You ok man?" Goose said laughing
"Ah no why when.." Maverick replied
"Maverick we're gonna hand you to Charlotte I can't deal with this" I them handed Maverick to Charlie
"Why do I have to do this?" She said groaning
"Charlotte your beautiful " Maverick said looking in her eyes
"Aw! My baby is all grown up" me and Goose said in unison.
That night I slept in Goose's bed. Despite us cuddling all night, when we woke up we were in a little bit of a state. His hand was around my waist and my hand holding his face
"Ow! Shit!" He said trying to get out
"Damn why is it this hard!" I shouted in frustration
"Thats What she said" Goose giggled. We both lay in that position laughing and hugging eachother.
In the meeting Charlotte seemed sick, she had her words muffled and then out of no where she sprinted out of the door, Maverick got up but I told him to sit down and I'd go. Goose looked at me worried, I followed the way Charlie left, when I found her she was in the toilets with the door locked and I heard muffled sounds of someone being sick.
"Charlie? Are you alright? Mav is really worried!" I said
"Yes I think" she said
"Please open the door?"
"Ok I will" Charlotte opened the door
"Do you know why your throwing up?" I said hugging her
"Yes I think I might be pregnant" I held my mouth keeping in the screams of excitement.
"I'm not sure yet so dont- just don't tell Mav yet, please?"
"I won't but I get to be a non-biological auntie!" I said, thankfully it made her laugh.
"Ok Charlie I'm going to buy a test you just stay in bed"
"What about the meeting?"
"I sorted some of the other instructors to carry on now" I said.
I sat on her bed as she looked at the tests.
"It's positive" she mumbled "IT'S POSITIVE!"
"What?! OH MY GOD!" I ran over looking for myself. Maverick suddenly ran in and saw the tests
"Oh my god.. IM A DAD!" Maverick said smiling, we all laughed.
