I ran in the direction of the cliffs, I ran through the midnight air blowing my hair through the wind, I couldn't deal with the thought of Goose and Iceman fighting, I dont know what iceman is capable of and I don't want to find out. This is the reason I didn't tell goose it was for his sake, I wish he knew how worried I was. I saw them out the corner of my eye, I sprinted over without a second thought, I saw the blood dripping off Goose's face, I was about to burst into tears and anger.
"STOP NOW!" I said pushing iceman away
"fuck off" he replied
"Don't speak to her like that iceman" goose said weakly trying to get up
"Sit down my love" I said, I threw my first punch at iceman giving him a black eye
"Bitch ass!" He said running away.
"Are you alright?" I said sitting beside him
"I think so, thank you for coming for me, what I did was stupid"
"I'm glad you cared but in future maybe tell me before you get in a fight with the most dangerous person in the squadron" I said hugging him.
"I love you so much, I couldn't even survive without you" goose said kissing me softly "your the best thing that has ever happend to me."
The next day, Goose and Iceman got called into vipers office for fighting
me and Maverick waited outside, as iceman walked past we gave him a dirty look and he scurried off, finally Goose came out of the office "boo!" Maverick said
"Mav I just got yelled at by Viper, I'm gonna cry now" he said looking at Maverick
"PETE MITCHELL!" A familiar female voice called from the opposing room
"Shit thats my call, peace" Maverick said running "coming!"
Me and Goose laughed and suddenly forgot the incident last night, it all felt good again.
At the bar that night me and Goose sang the same song we did every time we came to the bar, fireball, goose was on the piano I was on singing and Maverick was getting beers, everything had gone back to normal except the fact Charlie had pregnancy pains every second
"Shit this baby feels like it's eating my insides"
"Technically it's eating something in your insides" I said laughing mid-song
"Ew Alissa, thats gross"
"Grossly true, wait is that grammar or-" Goose said questioning his words,
"I love this friendgroup" Maverick said
"And I love you" Charlie said ignoring the kicking of her baby.
