Chapter 12: Tournament (part 2)

After Goose recovered the Date of the tournament crept up. Goose, Maverick and I decided it would be fun to watch a movie and of course we invited Charlie. We all sat down, I was next to Goose, Maverick and Charlie sat next to Maverick,
"Ew did you seriously get sweet flavoured popcorn" Charlie said to Maverick
"Why are you so mean when your pregnant?" Maverick then picked up a handful of popcorn
"Shut up you got me pregnant, therefore it's your fault"
"Preach queen" I said. I didn't know this but according to Goose I fell asleep on him, well I know now because I saw my head on his shoulder and he was hugging me aswell, which personally I thought was cute. "I love you" I whispered in his ear
"Love you to" he replied.

In the changing room, because I'm the only girl in the squadron I had to get changed in the bathroom of the men's changing room and also because Maverick, Goose and me are the only people doing the tournament it was only us in that changing room, personally I would've just changed there if Maverick wasn't there. I was halfway through changing, when goose knocked on my door
"Hunnnn"
"Yes Goose?"
"I forgot my aviators"
"I have them, I'm gonna open the doors and give them to you"
"Thank you and I will be a gentleman and close my eyes"
"Aw thats sweet but you've seen me getting changed anyway" I said
"Still!" He replied. I opened the door and I passed them to him,
"Everyone can see the slit in your fingers" Maverick said
"Shut up Pete" Goose shouted with his hands still over his eyes "also Can I have a hug?"
"Yes Goose, you can" I hugged him.

We stood on the crater next to our planes,
"Maverick, Goose and Phoenix you can board your planes now" Viper shouted. I climbed into my plane and put on the headset,
"We're ago Mav and Nix" goose said through the microphone
"Copy" me and Maverick said, we all took off from the crater into the mid-morning sky.
"Shit where are these fighter planes Viper was talking about it just seems to be us here" Maverick said
"Yeah that means we can have some fun" I said smiling, then flying above Maverick and Goose's plane,
"What's up?" I said from the cockpit
"Nothing much just sitting in an inverted dive" Mav said turning the plane above us.

"Hey guys not to worry you but there are 3 fighter planes gathering around our tail" Goose said
"Shit" I replied turning the plane upwards and looking around "where about hun?
"Over there"
"Shit shit shit!" Maverick said flying over. We all were shooting our missiles but missing
"aha! That bitch is dead!" I said as I shot down a plane
"Well done! We need to get to the north there's a big ass one there" goose said looking on the radar,
"Thats another one dead Goosey" Maverick said
"SHIT! There's like 5 over there" Goose said
"Ok I'm on it boys" I flew over to the crimson red plane I shot it down without a second thought. After winning the tournament we all laughed and celebrated through the mics, "hell yes I knew we'd do it!" I said
"I know right we're the best pilots " Goose said
"Agreed" Maverick exclaimed taking off the oxygen pack.
