Y/N's POV
We wait inside the warehouse after yet another day of boring charting. Rowan has been strangely nice to me the past 2 days. He helped me chart again last night before leaving the hospital. However, we've gotten no where with finding the equipment we need, and I'm beginning to become impatient. It's always the boys Aris and I are waiting on. Lounging around ready to tell them about yet another unsuccessful day in the hospital.
Finally, Thomas and the other two walk in. Then four. Five. Six. My smile falters as I jump up on my feat frantically searching for a weapon of some sort. Aris does the same as me, and I catch a glimpse at the trespassers. Three strangers. Not guards. "Ryder what the hell?" Aris tries as Minho just shakes his head. I grab a brick from the dusty floor, and I charge in their direction. "Woah woah woah." This is one of the strangers speaking putting his hands slightly up. "Gally, close the door." I order, and he does with no question. "Y/N what they hell are you going to do with that?" Thomas reveals every part of me that wasn't already hidden before. "When the hell did we agree on releasing our identities?" My voice is as harsh as intended when Aris joins in. "Who the hell are these shanks?" I glare at the three individuals before me. The one in front is good looking. He's got a tall, macular body with brown bed hair. The one on his left is blonde with a blue backwards cap on. The last one has darker skin and a pretty killer afro. The boy in front seems more star struck than hostile as he tries to chime in. "Can I have a word with you?" I drop the brick looking over in the general direction of Thomas, Minho, and Gally. "Y/N-" The one in front starts before I grab his shirt, aggressively pulling him close. "Get my name out of your filthy mouth." My teeth are gritted as I stand firm in my position. "We just want to help." He takes deep breaths of fear and patience. "Look, I don't know what you think you know, but I'd suggest keeping your mouth shut." I push him off of me. "You three, in the corner." I point over to Aris, thankful that he's on board, as he holds ropes in his palms. "Awwww you're gunna put us in time out." The blondie mocks, laughing but before I can put him in his place, the brunet slaps him in the chest. "Not now Lucas."
"I don't even need to say anything. I can see the worry written all over your faces." I point to each and every one of them. "Hey, this isn't on me." Gally throws his hands up. "These shanks did this." Gally adds pointing to the iconic duo. "They caught us in a bad time. We couldn't lie to them." Thomas admits. "What the hell does that mean?" Aris is angry. More angry than I've seen him in a while. "To summarize, Minho, me, and those dumbasses finished a really long run first today, and our reward was the day off. Minho and I hit the showers and prince charming saw our identities. They agreed not to tell the General if we answered their questions." Thomas uses his usual amounts of sarcasm. "So you brought them here? To our base of operations?" I ask as they all three look at one another. "I told you she would have the same reaction as me." Gally fits in his sassy 'I told you so'. "What were we supposed to do? We can handle a few shanks, but we can't convince a Wicked Army." Minho's argument is solid. Not solid enough to build trust with these strangers. "Is this really necessary?" The one called Lucas holds up his tied hands. "Shut up!" The five of us say in unison. I sigh with my hand on my head. "Y/N, they were in the Ma-" Thomas' voice stops when I put my hand up to stop him. I march over to the tied up individuals as my miniature army follows close behind. "I'm guessing you're the leader?" I question squatting down to the brown headed one I talked to earlier. He nods, "Griffin." I look back at the others. "Listen, we don't want any trouble. Just go back to the dorms, forget this ever happened, and we can go our separate ways. Sound fair enough?" His eyebrows furrow in disappointment. "We just want to help." He offers. "We don't need your help." After the words come out, I wince. As truthful as they are, I can only be big and bad for so long. "It's you against a world of Wicked. How can you not need help?" Griffin argues. "We can't trust you." I simply state. "How do you know that without giving us a shot?" The one with the afro speaks up. "We can't risk trusting you." Gally summarizes my statement. I look at Gally with worried eyes. I know these guys won't just drop it. I don't want them in on our plans. "Yea," Aris' expression is on me. "We can't risk trusting anyone." I give him a look. Rowan is different. He doesn't know my identity. He is oblivious. "You." I point at Griffin, the leader. "I want to speak with you alone." His eyes widen as the blondie starts nudging him. "Y/N, I don't think that's a good idea." Minho states as I turn back to him. "What? Now you don't trust them? After bringing them here?" I feel myself growing agitated and impatient with them. "No. It's just that..." As soon as he stops, Lucas begins laughing. "Oh I see what's going on here." His chuckles make me cringe in confusion. I grab Griffin's wrist, pulling him up from the cold ground. "We won't be long. Besides... we've got a curfew to make anyways."
