Next day team had gathered for practice session ahead of their first match.

Virat was surprisingly late, he didn't arrive yet..

Rah - where is Virat ? He didn't come yet ? He is always the first one to come for the practice sessions.

Harry - not only practice session rah he is always the first one to attend any of the sessions which is related to cricket.

Rohit arrived with Mahi bhai and Rahul bhai there where the juniors were discussing about Virat ..

Jassi - Pata nahi Kaha reh Gaye .. Virat bhai!

Rohit heard that and looked around .. Virat was nowhere to be seen .. 'is he okay ?' He thought at first .. but shrugged it off reminding he is just a team member.. (Ofcourse 😒)

Rahul bhai - Rohit should we begin ?

Rohit was just looking at the entrance.. he was wondering where he can be ? Even though he was reminding himself that he is just a teammate.

Mahi kept hand on his shoulder and called - Ro!

Rohit - Yes bhai.

He saw as everyone was looking at him.

Rohit - 'ohh ya Ummm sorry .. let's begin ! Start with the warm up and then we can have one by one throw down sessions'

Everyone started practicing .. then Virat arrived panting .. as he had literally ran to the ground.

Rohit saw him like that and rushed to him .. seeing him holding his knees and catching his breath ..

Rohit - 'are u okay .. Vi .. Virat'
He asked and stopped himself from calling him Vi

Virat looked up and saw Rohit .. he felt bad hearing Virat from him ..

'ya Rohit .. sorry I am late skip. Won't happen again'
He said and went to the bench.

Rohit closed his eyes hearing skip and Rohit in one sentence..
'No am not gonna feel bad .. why should I .. he is teammate right .. toh Rohit hi bulana chahiye'

Mahi went near Virat who was padding up .. sat beside him.

Mahi - 'U okay Virat ? How come u are late !'
He asked.

Virat just closed his eyes not hearing 'Cheeku' from him .. he had successfully drifted two of them away from him..

Virat - 'umm ya I overslept I guess'
He said and went to nets.

Mahi felt bad to see his Cheeku so silent .. but he could not help himself either .. he called him Virat again ..

Virat started practicing with Jassi .. it was strange Virat was not able to practice properly.. Rohit and Mahi observed it from far ..

Virat frustrated - 'Ughhhhhh !!! What's wrong with me'

Rahul bhai went upto him and took him aside.. sat with him. And was giving him some guidance.

Mahi and Rohit saw that and continued their work. Once the practice session was over everyone returned back to the hotel.

Virat opened his room and saw Anushka and Vamika there .. he hugged Anushka tightly. She smiled at that gesture.

He was going to take Vami in his arms .. but Anushka stopped him !

Anushka - 'Vi don't u dare pick my daughter with ur sweaty hands .. go and take a bath first .. lazy !'
She said taking Vami with her.

Virat pouted at that ..

Anushka said seeing his face - 'ohh don't make that faces .. go n freshen up .. ur sister and ur Sammio has also come with me ... toh be fast'
