Last match of T20 WC 2021-

As Virat had this though in back of his mind after loosing their first match, that they were gonna loose this tournament, that's what happened.

They lost in his captaincy again!

Rohit was in dressing room while Virat was in dugout. He saw Virat send Surya to the crease instead of himself.

He felt so proud of him at that time because he wanted Surya to have that time in the middle.

Rohit saw how Virat was standing there by the stairs with a smile on his face acknowledging everyone's efforts in his captaincy stint.

He could see the sadness in his eyes. Rohit wanted to hug him tightly and tell him that he did everything he could.

That he was the best captain they could get after Mahi bhai.

Rohit reached and shook his hand with Virat squeezing it to tell him that he was there with him. Virat just blinked his eyes in response.

They were returning back to the hotel. Virat was sitting on his seat alone thinking everything that happened.

He so wished that they would have won in his captaincy.. now everyone would say that he didn't deserve it ! How he was failure.

"You are not a failure!", Said Rohit taking a seat beside him.

"Huh ?", Virat thoughts were broken and he looked at him questioningly.

"I said u are not a failure, don't think anything like that", Rohit said knowing very well what was going on in his mind.

Virat rested his head on his shoulder.

"I am sorry Ro, I could not give you that happiness once again", he said feeling miserable about whatever had happened.

"It's nothing like that, Vi please don't blame yourself for this!", Rohit said seeing him so upset about it.

"Virat ..", Rohit was going to say something seeing him so silent.

"Let's not talk about this. I am tired! Just be here with me!", He said closing his eyes not wanting to get consoled now.

Rohit just held his hand in support.

They went back to India to spend sometime with their families. As they had to leave for SA tour .. so they had sometime off.

"Ro sorry na yaar, I will not repeat it ever again! Please gussa mat ho subhe subhe!", requested Virat not in the mood to fight in the morning.

"HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT AT FIRST PLACE??? HOW DARE U ??? YOU CLAIMED THAT SOUTH AFRICAN GUY THAT ALIEN TO BE YOUR FAVOURITE PERSON ?", Rohit yelled on the call.

"Ro for godsake stop shouting ! What the hell is wrong with you? U will wake Sammy up !", Ritika smacked his arm and yelled at him.

Rohit rubbed his arm and mouthed sorry to her.

"Yes Ro, Rits is right! Spare my ears and my Sammio. Let her sleep", Virat said annoying him more.

"You !!", Rohit whisper yelled but stopped hearing Virat's voice.

"Arey Ro Aisa nahi hai u are getting it all wrong!", Virat tried his best to explain him.

"No I am not getting it wrong ! What about me ha? I am gonna Kill you once I meet you !
I would have jumped out of this phone if I could .. stupid! Idiot!
How many times I have to remind you this and it fill fit in ur chotu brain!
I will lock you in a room with all the Junk Food", threatened Rohit being angry at him.
