THIRD PERSON.
The majority of the party was filled with the parents of ten to eleven year old children and the children themselves. A party that was mainly held in the backyard yet had most of the children running around inside anyway.
Rosemary had spent the afternoon baking and decorating the cake, supplying most of the children with the cutoff of the cake and some of the icing while Corbyn sat at the kitchen island directly opposite her, watching her interact with them all.
"Rosy can I please have one more?" Naomi pouted as she glanced over to Corbyn, "can you tell her I'd like one more?"
"Baker is in charge," he shook his head and smiled.
"You know you said you'd help the baker, right?" Rosemary looked up at him with a smile, handing one last cutoff to Naomi before she looked at the girl, "can you get mom and say the cake is ready?"
"Gladly." She grinned, running off with her best friend towards the backyard as Rosemary looked back at Corbyn.
"But if I was helping I wouldn't be able to watch you the entire time." He shrugged, "you've got a very lovely concentration face. I didn't know your tongue makes an appearance when you're focusing on something."
"It makes a small appearance." She smiled slightly at him as he let out a laugh.
"Do you need help cutting it?"
"That part is to mom." She shook her head, moving the cake board to one side as she grabbed a cloth from the sink, "I need to clean the mess up."
"Want help?" Corbyn asked as he stood up, their conversation being interrupted by a group of children screaming in excitement towards the cake.
With Lisa following behind them, Rosemary looked over to Corbyn and shook her head in response, receiving a small thumbs up from him as he walked off to find the rest of the adults at the party.
After each child received their small slice and had an extra put into their party bags being provided by Rosemary, she was soon dragged outside by the group to be involved in one of their many party games, demanded on being the one calling out the directions in twister and being the leader of the other games.
While Corbyn had been sat with the adults, Jasmine sat beside him and glanced over to him, watching him watch the girl with a smile on his face as Jasmine rolled her eyes and laughed.
"What are you laughing at?" Corbyn asked, keeping his stare on Rosemary.
"You're not very subtle with your staring." She raised her eyebrows as he turned to her, "it's very obvious."
"Rosemary is such an angel though." One of the parents spoke up from beside the pair, causing them both to look at her with a nod, "I would set her up with my Tyler but even he is out of her league."
"I think she's seeing someone." Jasmine replied as Corbyn glanced to her with his eyebrows furrowed, "some guy in LA."
"Really?" She frowned, "I would've thought she'd go for a hometown guy, being such a homebody and all."
"Me too," Jasmine shrugged and smiled, "My boyfriend is from Minnesota.. I thought she was the one who'd stick to our hometown."
"Jas," Corbyn tapped her shoulder with a frown, "who-"
"How is Alec?" She smiled at Jasmine as she shrugged Corbyn's hand off her shoulder.
"He's amazing, he's coming to visit soon." Jasmine said, receiving an approving smile from the other parent as she turned away to her own conversation.
