THIRD PERSON
While finishing up in the florist after a busy day of customers, Harry began to sweep the floor whilst Evelyn wiped down the counters, working in silence as their boss remained in her office, where she had been for the past hour.
Despite Rosemary being locked away from her two employees, her last sentence to the both of them was informing the two she was going to be getting ready for her evening out, and with her mood being nothing but happy the entire day, neither of them were concerned about her.
"...You think she has a date?" Harry questioned, breaking the silence between him and Evelyn.
Evelyn let out a small laugh while shaking her head, "with a guy that isn't Corbyn? That's some big dreams, Harry."
"She did take him home after her party the other night," he shrugged, looking up at her while she glanced to him.
"She made sure the uber went to his." She corrected him, "I don't even know where they stand with each other."
"...I think they're going on a date." He smiled slightly, turning back to the sweeping as Evelyn shook her head in disbelief.
"I really doubt that, Harry," she let out a small laugh, "she would've told us."
"Maybe she wants this to be a private thing at the minute." He subtly frowned, "work on what they had in private."
Evelyn looked over at him before replying with a quick shrug and smile, turning back to the counter she was at and putting away the final few things while Harry finished with the sweeping, spending the remainder of their close down jobs in a peaceful silence while waiting for their boss to reappear.
As the pair finished up with the final task of watering all the flowers already out in the store, Harry's head moved to the direction of the store windows as a car pulled up just outside the store, it's windows tinted and lights on. Hard to identify the driver or the car due to the darkness of the evening already.
As Evelyn took notice of it too, another small laugh escaped her lips before Harry turned to her, "maybe you're right."
"What?"
"That's his car." Evelyn smiled, hearing the office door open as Rosemary watched them both turn to her with raised eyebrows and a smile.
"...Is everything done?" She asked, ignoring the look on their faces as she grabbed her store keys and bag.
"Is that your ride home?" Harry questioned while Rosemary glanced at him, "..the long journey of crossing the street."
"I have plans tonight." She replied, "I-"
"Corbyn?" Evelyn interrupted her while Rosemary's face slowly fell, wrapping her scarf around herself while Evelyn looked down to the floor.
"Corbyn." She nodded.
Evelyn raised her eyebrows quickly and nodded once before the all walked towards the door, now all in silence as Harry glanced between the two best friends in confusion, holding the door open for them on the way out.
While Rosemary shut off the lights and locked the door behind them, Corbyn got out of his car and shoved his hands into the pocket of his jacket, a small smile on his face watching Rosemary as they all turned to him.
The girl kept her gaze on Evelyn as Harry furrowed his eyebrows, watching Corbyn notice the sudden small amount of tension as he looked to the boy and nodded his head towards them, receiving a shrug as an answer.
