you kiss on sidewalks,
you fight, then you talkTHIRD PERSON.
Corbyn pulled up on his driveway less than 10 minutes after ending his call with Rosemary, looking over to his front door as he took notice of the girl standing beside his door with her arms wrapped around herself and tears falling down her face, staring over at his car.
He wasted no time in getting out of his car and rushing up the driveway to his front door, leaving all his belongings in his car while he focused on the girl he drove so fast to see.
"Hey, hey," he softly spoke, pulling her into him as his arms wrapped around the girl, hearing her begin to sob while his placed a kiss on the top of her head.
While she kept her arms tucked into her chest and was being kept close to Corbyn by the grip on his arms, her eyes moved to his car from the sound of the door opening and a girl she had not seen before getting out of it.
The girl gave Rosemary a sympathetic smile as Rosemary pulled herself away from Corbyn and looked up at him with her eyebrows furrowed.
"I'm crying and you bought a girl along with you?" She mumbled, "you bought a date to-"
"She's not a date." Corbyn shook his head quickly, "not a real date. It's fake, Randy forced it on me and he made me take her with me to see you. I told him it was a family emergency."
Rosemary let out a sigh as she looked to the girl now holding Corbyn's jacket for him, keeping herself close to his car and unsure of where to look to avoid interfering with the couple.
"Do you want to talk about why you're crying?" He asked her, using his thumbs to wipe underneath her eyes as she turned herself back to him.
"Thea," Rosemary shrugged, "can you unlock your front door please?"
"Thea?" Corbyn raised his eyebrows slightly, unlocking the front door as opening it for her as Rosemary turned her head back to Miriam.
"It's raining," Rosemary called out as Miriam looked up at her, "do you want to come inside?"
"Are you sure?" Miriam replied.
"It's dark, cold and raining. Come inside," she nodded her head towards the front door, allowing Corbyn to walk in first as the two girls followed behind him.
"I have his jacket here by the way, I didn't know if he wanted it left in his car or... he was in a rush." Miriam shrugged, holding his jacket out as Rosemary smiled slightly, taking it from her arms and wrapping it around herself.
"Miriam just take a seat wherever," Corbyn said, interrupting their conversation as he held onto Rosemary's waist and guided her into the kitchen.
"Do you want a drink?" Rosemary asked Miriam, watching her sit down on one of the kitchen stools while staring at Rosemary in confusion.
"Rosy, Thea." Corbyn reminded the girl.
"I think he's waiting for you to explain why you're upset," Miriam gestured to Corbyn as Rosemary nodded, still waiting for an answer to her question as Eben walked into the kitchen, "...I'll have a hot chocolate whenever you have time."
"Corbyn's suddenly got popular." Eben said, glancing over to Rosemary as he noticed the puffy eyes, "why are you crying?"
"Eben, my saviour. Please can you make Miriam a hot chocolate?" Corbyn asked, guiding Rosemary out of the kitchen and towards the stairs.
"...I guess so." He furrowed his eyebrows in response.
"I didn't want her to feel awkward sitting there," Rosemary told Corbyn, the two of them walking up the stairs as Corbyn smiled slightly at her.
