The guards view point:
"Who is she and why have you brought her here?" The golden guard spoke sternly at the guard by the door.
"Well, uh, we have reason to believe she was conspiring with the owl lady, sir" The guard sounded scared.
"Well, she doesn't, ya know. Look like someone who would work with that criminal." He started at you, but you were turned away and couldn't hear what they were speaking of. "I'll go talk with her and see if she knows anything."
Back to normal POV:
"Are you ok? Who are you?" This voice was calming and felt kind. You turn around to see him. The boy in gold.
"Oh, *sniff* um, *sniff* I'm fine." You spoke between sniffles while wiping your tears with your baggy sleeves. This guard looked different from the rest. He was wearing a golden uniform with a white cape. Not to mention he seemed to be a little shorter then the others you've seen on your way here. You stared, fantasied at his mask though. That was what caught your eyes. It was like an owl face painted in gold, and it was shimmery as heck. You stared so intensely at it you thought your mind might burn a hole through it.
"Are-are you a human!?" He noticed your ears and sounded astonished by this fact. You were still so confused.
"Um, *sniff* well yeah. I thought *sniff* ya know everyone was, but I guess that's just me being dumb again." You sighed and looked down.
"What!? I'm sure your not as dumb as you think. You must have came here from the human realm, right. That's why you don't know what's going on." He seemed to know what he was talking about.
"Oh, well thanks. I guess." you looked down bashfully while he still just stood there facing you. "So, I'm guessing you're not human then. And neither were those other guards." You suggested to him trying to get some stuff straight up in that noggin of yours.
"Yeah, all of the citizens here are either a type of demon or a witch." He said plainly like it was a old and boring fact, but you felt otherwise. Your eyes lit up and you spun your body to fully be facing this guard.
"You mean, YOUR LIKE A WITCH OR SOMETHING! That's so cool! Can you do magic!? Can you curse people!? Do you guys fly, like in the air!?" You were spitting out questions here and there and he didn't even know what hit him.
"Woah, woah. Calm down little missy." He saw it was cute how you got so exited about a simple little idea, but he shoved that though away.
"Sorry, sorry. It's just, I think witches are so cool." You blatantly stated. "Wait. Don't you like, have to go do work like that others? Like capture that. . .um, lady who likes owls??"
"Oh, well, I mean. . .no." He stumbled, a bit embarrassed.
"Why?" You ask tilting your head and looking at him with curiosity in your gaze.
"Well, my- *cough* Emperor Belos said I'm not needed to be out on missions just right now. The titian needs me for other, more important, tasks. So for now. . .I just have to stay here, in the castle." He felt kind of disappointed that he couldn't be of help at this time.
"Oh well. You can still hang with me right now if ya want. I mean, I'm kinda stuck here for now anyways." You point out showing your confinement to this imprisonment case. He then proceeded to sit right in front of you, the bars being the only thing separating you. He seemed to have taken your offer and was here to 'hang'.
"Um, I don't really know how to start off." You began laughing a bit and trying to not make things awkward.
"Um, how old are you?" he asked. You were surprised about this question for some reason. "I mean cause you look young, but I'm not sure if you're my age." He was a noob at conversations, and it was obvious.
