The Boy In Gold (Hunter x Reader)

Mission (Part 1)

Hunter explained what the file said, and this time you payed full attention to him. He sat on his bed as you sat at his feet, crisscrossed, looking straight at him.

"So we basically have to go to the library and get this book for Belos. But it might be in the forbidden section, so we have to go through the whole place to find it?" You repeat your understanding of what he explained.

"Somewhat. No one can know what we're looking for, so we have to seek in tonight when it closes early." He adds.

"Umhum, but why is it closing early. I though libraries liked to stay open later?" You asked confused, laying back on the ground.

"Well, tonight there's going to be a Waling Star meteor shower."

"A what's-a star what now!?" You chuckled a bit at the name.

"Waling. Ya'know like crying-"

"I know what waling is. I just think you get to have such fun sounding things happen here." You state.

"Hm, yeah. I guess it does sound a little fun." He laughed a bit.

"So, we gonna brake in when they close. Look through millions of books. And try to find this specific book that's old and was donated many many years ago. Did I leave anything out?" You say sarcastically.

"Oh, um well we don't have to brake in right away, per say." Hunter added.

"What'chu mean Chico?" 

He blushed a bit and continued.

"Ok, so we have to see if the book is in the open or if it's in the forbidden section, right? So I was thinking, how about we go there and try to find the book while it's day. Then if we find it, boom! Done. If we don't, then we sneak in, giving us more time to find it while it's closed." he shakes his hands all jazzy like and smiles, opening his mouth.

"Hmmm, I like how you think Hun . . .ter" You state getting a little nervous at the end.

"Did you jus-"

"Nope. Now. We must get ready for this adventure!" You yell as you climb up and stand on his bed, posing like a super hero.

You both get dressed into something casual to blend in a bit. You pick out a pair of dark baggy jeans and a yellow tan-top. You threw a beanie on over your head to cover your ears.

People didn't really know that there were two humans on the Boiling Islas, so you didn't want to make a seen and attract attention to yourself. 

Hunter didn't really have to worry about covering his face because no one had seen it before. In fact, no one had even seen the golden guard in person before. He was still kind of off duty right now. 

Like mentioned, this was like our first mission. And Hunter was exited to be able to help out.

He grabbed a pair of black pants and a dark red shirt. 

You patted his head in approval and you were both on your way. You decided to walk so no one would question Hunter's artificial staff. You both arrived at the library and you peer in and see the millions of books.

"Woah!" You gazed at the huge area.

"Heh, let's go in, shall we" He stands in front of you and holds out his hand.

You blush a bit and take his hand in your own. You walk in and peruse the shelfs. 

"So uh, where would this book be? Do we know what it's called?" You ask looking over the area.

"Oh, uh. I don't this it actually had a name. It was just like someone's journal entry." He explained walking next to you, browsing the carts with stacks of books on them.
