You and Hunter had been collecting and reading books on different types of wild magic to see if there was a way to use it on your own without magical abilities. You both ended up staying awake all night reading. You dozed off a few times and slept for a total of maybe 2 hours. Hunter didn't sleep at all, but it didn't seem to change his activeness. He was still pretty spry and awake somehow.

The morning came and you both were still up reading. Hunter tried to convince you to go to bed, but you just argued that he should too, which he refused.

You took a small break to eat and refresh your brains a bit. You went down to that arena thing to train a bit and try some tactics to wake you up a bit. You didn't find out how to use magic in your own ways yet, but Hunter though it would be a good idea to let you try learning how to use his staff magic.

"If you can master some spells with this, maybe that can help you with future tries on different magic" Hunter explained.

He showed you how to stand, placing his hands on your hips and directing your arms up at and angle to support the staff. You blushed a bit and focused on his words. You pointed it to a bolder on the floor and tried to make it float.

You closed your eyes and focused with all you had. You stood there for a solid minute when it started to shake. It lifted off the ground and split it in half before it fell back to the floor with a 'crash'.

"AH! I DID IT! I MOVED IT!" You screamed in exactment.

"Yeah! You did it! I'm proud of you." Hunter praised.

"Aww, Mi Chico Malo. You're proud of me!" You squealed.

"Uhhh, yeah, I guess" He said bashfully. "And why do you keep calling me that!?"

"Uh, cause it's fun to see your cute little face all flustered when I do. Duh." You teased, giving him the biggest smile.

". . ." He blushed and you felt awkward again.

He tried to show you a few more things, which you mastered pretty well, but also messed up a bit. You tried to do that glitchy thing that Hunter did, but you shot out a spark of lighting which bounced all over the room. Hunter had to make a shield to block it from zapping either of you. For a second it looked like something had shown though the light of this spell. Like a depicted sign.

You both decided that was enough for one day and go back to the library and read for the rest of the day, trying to figure something out.

You sat down and tried to remember how it looked, then drawing it out on some paper. You drew it and showed Hunter. He hadn't ever seen anything like it. You set the pad of paper down and tossed your pencil on top of it. You were about to go back to reading when it light up. You and Hunter looked over and saw the slip of paper crumble up and turn into a ball of light. You reached you hands under it and stared at Hunter with utter amazement in your eyes.

"I-I-I-I" You just watched it as it hovered above your hand and evaporate.

You silently screamed with excitement. You then showed Hunter what you did and how you drew it. He tried to draw it and tapped the paper. When it light up, you saw his eyes sparkle with happiness.

You start drawing more and more, lighting up the room. 'So cool' you thought.

You start to lay down and then fall asleep with your head on the table. Hunter notices how you were just scrunched up in a chair. He didn't want you to be uncomfortable, so he tried to wake you up to go to bed.

"Hey, y/n. Wake up." He said quietly.

"hummhgusnue" You grumpily growl pushing his hand away from your arm.
