The Boy In Gold (Hunter x Reader)

Training

Hunter's POV:

'I actually fell asleep? How?' I thought to myself as I woke up, still keeping my eyes shut. Then it all came flooding back. 'Oh Titan! I laid with y/n and fell asleep with her!' I thought. 

I opened my eyes slowly to see if it was maybe a dream, but I was met face-to-face with none other then the pretty human girl.

"Ah" I screeched a bit but then shut my mouth so I wouldn't wake her. Her hair fell over her face perfectly and I could see all of her fetchers. From her stunning y/e/c eyes to her soft y/s/c skin. I couldn't look away from her. Her face was so close to mine and it was scary. 

She seemed to be dreaming about something nice. She was smiling and making these cute faces.

I relaxed a bit and noticed she was, uh what's the word, um 'hugging' me. She pulled me closer to her and I flinched but it was nice to be next to her. I closed my eyes for a minute and fell back to sleep.

Back to normal POV:

You woke up to see that you and Hunter were still holding one another close while sleeping. 'I'm glad he was able to sleep' you happily thought holding onto him. 

He started to wake up so you shut your eyes and pretended to be sleeping still. 'Oh no, he's gonna freak out and think I'm weird for hugging him like this' you stressed until you saw him notice you holding him. 

He let out a small gasp, but then just looked at you. You could feel his gaze on you. You kind of liked it though. You tugged on his torso a bit to make him come closer and it worked. He cuddled back with you and you both fell asleep.

You both slept for about another hour until you heard the door.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

The door opened to revel Steve. He looked at the two of you and just sighed.

"I'll be out here when your ready" He said as he turned around as walked out.

You sat up a bit looked down at Hunter who was as red as an apple. He then looked at you. You both saw that his arm was still around your waist. You bushed and he quickly removed it and got out of bed.

You both got changed and came out to see Steve.

"Sorry I just walked in again, I need to stop doing that."

"Steve, it was a misunderstanding, we just fell asleep while hanging out on his bed." You explained.

"Oh yeah, right. Friend stuff." Steve said sarcastically.

"Yes, exactly" You and Hunter both said, oblivious to his sarcasm. you both laughed a bit and Steve smiled at the two of you.

"Anyway, the emperor wants you to train y/n today." Steve informed.

"Oh, right he mentioned training with you." You had forgotten that with everything going on. You placed you hand on the back of your neck and smiled awkwardly.

"That's cool. Today's the perfect day to start anyways. It's scout tryouts day." Hunter began. "The newer additions will be tested on there skills before becoming an official scout member."

"But I don't  have any skills to be tested for this. I haven't trained in these standers before." You worriedly advised.

"Well, It's not that hard, I mean there are these trials you have to do, but those weren't to much." Hunter explained.

"Dude don't you remember the mazes and fighting? What about the cliff where we all had to make it back down alive?" Steve asked a little conserved.

"hehe, classic." Hunter sang.
