"You kids are really reckless you know that?" Steve scolded you both while helping fix you up with healing magic.
He was upset with you for flying the staff right into the ground, and with Hunter for letting you do that. He didn't mad or anything, he was just worried.
You both sat on Hunter's bed as Steve did the magic he could to heal up your wounds.
"I didn't know what I was doing. I was dumb, I'm sorry" You apologize to Steve and Hunter.
"It's fine, I just don't want to see you kids getting hurt over bad choices. If you want to fly, you should at least of had Hunter teach you before just jumping on a staff and not knowing what you were doing."
"Yeah, I messed up for letting her fly without any knowledge of it. I'll make sure to teach her next time." Hunter assured Steve we'd be safe and not try to kill ourselves in the future.
"Ok, well, just rest up for a minute, ok. I'm going to go grab some more healing patches and bandages." Steve requested.
"Kay" You both echoed.
You watched as he left the room and shut the door behind him.
"You're actually going to teach me some time!?" You hollered jumping up at Hunter, getting right up in his face again. He was now on the verge of falling off the side of the bed. Your head hung down over his, inches apart, and your arms were supported by your hands on either side of his torso.
"Um, yeah. You want to learn, right? And I don't want you to get hurt like this again." He said trying to motion to your leg while also trying to scooch his way back on the bed as you sat over him blocking the way.
"REALLY!? Yesssssss-" You were so exited that you raised both arms in the air, causing you to fall forward, tripling his legs and taking him with you.
*Bam*
You both hit the floor, shaking the ground underneath you. Your arms were curled to your sides as you laid with your back to the ground. Hunter was toppled over on you.
You both opened your eyes and he lifted his head to meat your gaze. You were was as straight and stiff as a board and you couldn't speak a word as he moved himself off your waist, still hovering over your body with his arms pinned next to your head. The warmness begun to arise in your cheeks and Hunter flourished a bright red.
"Auum-hu-uh" He struggled to get any words out.
You both tried to speak or move, but you couldn't. That is until the door flew open and Steve walked in with the some patches and bandages.
"Your both in luck, they had-" Steve stopped his self and looked at your awkward state. Steve then proceeded to walk backwards out the door. "I'm just gonna wait out here."
". . ." Hunter jumped up and blushed furiously in embarrassment. Yet he still acted as the soft boy he is and gave you his hand. You grabbed his hand and he picked you back up to your feet. You blushed at him, still holding your hand, and you both let go.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom." You quickly say before hopping off on your uninjured foot.
"I'm g-gonna go *cough* talk to Steve." Hunter said as you slammed the door behind you.
Hunter's POV:
"I'm g-gonna go *cough* talk to Steve." I said trying to cool down. 'WHAT THE FRICK JUST HAPPENED HERE!' I thought to myself. I stood in place for a moment to think, but then decided to confront Steve.
"Listen man, I'm sorry about that but you have to understand it wasn't what it looked l-." I attempted to convince Steve but he was crouching on the floor sniffling. "Dude are you crying?"
