This is the story of a man so wise, he managed to defeat Death. He would dedicate this long eternal life learning everything he could. He traveled across the lands and the ages. He was still being careful, knowing Death would desperately try to claim his life. But She always failed.

One day, the man finally learned the last thing he assumed he could learn. He went back to his homeland, claiming he knew everything. Anyone asking him a question would get an answer. The only one he refused to give was "how did you become immortal?". People were fine with this exception, and the wise man helped a lot of people. Until a young child came in. The old man smiled at the kid.

"Well, what can such a young one wonder about? To come here to know."

The kid looked at the red candy in his hand, then looked at the sage.

"No one, sir."

"None? Well, you are free to visit, if you wish."

"I did not come for this, sir."

"Well, it will be the first time after so many years I shall be the one asking for something." Said the old man laughing." What do you want, then?"

"I'm here to tell you you are wrong, sir."

"Wrong? About what?

"You don't know everything."

"What do I ignore?" Asked the man, intrigued.

The boy took a gun out of his pocket, scaring the man.

"What do you want?!"

"You do not know what it does to die." Answer the kid, before giving the weapon to the man and leaving.

People quickly heard a "BANG!" and rushed to see what happened: the wise man killed himself. The kid looked back at the wise man's house when a cold hand, wrapped in black cloths, touched gently his shoulder.

"Here, my boy, you earned another candy. It's your turn to be immortal. Until I find you."
