Nonetheless, do not think that I have forgotten about book 2 in this series! In fact, I have started on the 5th chapter of it already! So, to keep you indulged, I have provided a sneak peak into the first chapter of the next book, How to Find the Truth. Hope you enjoy!
Love to all you amazing people. You guys make me way too happy,

"Mal, Mal, Mal."
"(Y/N), (Y/N), (Y/N)."
So many lights and cameras were all over us, I wasn't even sure which reporter was asking which questions. I felt a little overwhelmed, and so did Mal. She slowly blinked, trying to process everything, but it was a lot. She gasped, almost as if she had awoken from a daydream I bet she didn't want to end.
"(Y/N), just one question!"
"Mal, please over here!"
"Only three days to the Royal Cotillion. Ever think a girl like you would be Lady of the Court, Mal?"
"How is the Cotillion planning going (Y/N)?"
"How does it feel to be the two most envied girls in Auradon?"
"(Y/N), are you and your best friend Carlos ever going to become an item again?"
"How is your relationship with the villain kids?"
"Do you like being blond?"
"Is your mother still a lizard?"
"Okay, all right. Excuse me," Ben suddenly cleared his throat as he made his way through the press, and to us. He slipped an arm around Mal, trying to calm her and everyone else down. "Uh, we will let you know if and when that particular situation changes."
"Did you ever think you'd be with a villain kid?" Another reporter asked. Ben laughed.
"We're done here."
The reporters started to clamor again, not wanting to leave. Ben just looked at Mal lovingly as I stood next to the two of them. Suddenly, Fairy Godmother came to our aid and tried to disperse the crowd. "Okay. Shush shush. Shush shush," she laughed, annoyed. "This is still a school, so if you're here, you're either skipping or trespassing."
They just all started shouting again. However, the head mistress quieted them, and got them to leave. "Thank you guys!" I called after them.
"Thank you," Ben and Mal chorused.
"(Y/N), Mal, Ben," Fairy Godmother nodded to us.
"Fairy Godmother," we thanked. As the Headmistress left, Mal breathed out a relieved sigh as she looked into Ben's eyes. He chuckled. "Don't pay any attention to them," he advised.
"Well, that's a lot easier said than done. Right?" She laughed.
"I know. I know," my brother sighed. "You know, maybe we should do something. We should go somewhere. Get away."
"Yeah.""Hi!" I budded in. "Sorry to interrupt this lovely moment, but I am still here."
Ben chuckled at me, but then suddenly looked at his watch. "I have a council meeting. I'm so late."
"That's okay," Mal assured him.Suddenly Evie passed me and grabbed Mal's arm. "If we don't do a fitting for your gown right this minute, you'll be dancing in your bathrobe, okay?" The girl said sweetly. "Hi," she told Ben. "Let's go, let's go."
Mal grabbed my arm too as they left. "Bye Ben!" she told him.
"Wait, wait, wait," I told them as they dragged me off towards the school. "Why am I coming?"
Mal laughed. "I figured you need a break too."Evie looked back at me as we continued to speed walk to her dorm room. "You're welcome."
