•Chapter 18•

•Y/n's POV•

It's been about an hour, and now I'm sitting in a chair with presents all around me. I have Iris in my lap and she's helping me unwrap a present, which was from Chloe. I open it to see a box, I open the box and there was a book. I got it out of the box and looked at it.

Ch: "I made a photograph book of you an Iris."

She said, I smiled as I flipped through the pages.

Y/n: "Thank you so much."

I said, she walked over to me and gave me a hug. Then I grabbed the next present to see that it was from Zach.. it was small too. I look up at him to see a smile form on his face, then I began to open it. It was a jewelry box, I then lift the lid to see a necklace with an I on it.. then I looked closer to see Iris's birth stone inside. I smile and look up at Zach.

Y/n: "This is beautiful, Zach."

I said, he smiled.

Za: "I wanted to get you something that represented your love for Iris.. I know you two have a special bond."

He said, I smile more and look back down at it.

Y/n: "I wanna wear it right now."

I said, taking it out.

Za: "Here, let me."

He said, walking up to me and taking the necklace. I grabbed my hair and held it to the side while he wrapped the necklace around my neck, clipping it in the back.. which brought back so many memories of when he used to do this for me all the time.. I let go of my hair and look down at the necklace, smiling.

Y/n: "Thank you."

He nodded, then I looked up to see everyone else staring at us. If I'm being honest, I sort of forgot everyone else was here..

Then suddenly I hear Jack whistle, everyone else laughed, including Zach and I.

Za: "Oh, shut up."

He said, pushing him. Jack laughed. I look over at Alex to see him not laughing, he looked a little jealous if I'm being honest. I didn't pay any more attention, then I continued to open more presents. I got to the last one which was Alex's.

I open it to see a picture frame of us when we first became friends, I smiled.

Y/n: "Aww, this is so cute."

I said, turning it around so everyone else could see it.

Al: "I thought it would look good on your dresser."

He said, I giggle. Then as I looked around, I noticed Zach.. he didn't seem too happy. Then I realized, I had a picture of us when we first started dating on my dresser.. I guess he remembered. My smile quickly faded, but I brushed it off.

•Zach's POV•

Yeah.. maybe I was a little upset when he said that. But it's fine, I don't care. I watched as Y/n got up and gave Alex a hug, as I watched, I saw Alex look at me while he hugged her tight, moving his hands down a little. I just stood there, giving him the death stare. He knows what he's doing.. and it's working.

They finally pulled away, then I decided that it was probably time to go.

Za: "Hey, Y/n."

I said, walking up to her.

Y/n: "Yeah?"

Za: "I think I should get going.. I have things to do and it's almost Iris's nap time."

I said, she nodded.

Y/n: "Oh, ok.. yeah, it is almost time."

She said, looking at her watch, I nodded.

Za: "I mean, I can leave her with you since it's your birthday if you want."

Y/n: "No, it's ok. Tomorrow's your last day with her so just go ahead and take her."

She said, smiling. I smiled, then I gave her a hug.

Za: "Happy Birthday."

I said, not wanting to let go.

Y/n: "Thank you.. and thank you so much for that necklace."

She said as we pulled away.

Za: "Of course."

I then said bye to everyone else, then I took Iris home with me. I would've stayed longer.. but If I did, I probably would've ripped Alex's head off. And, I didn't want to ruin Y/n's party if I lost control. I sort of used Iris's nap time as an excuse, but that part is true.

•Y/n's POV•

Zach and Iris just left, I was a little upset that they did.. and I think I have an idea of why they left, but I'm not too sure. I can usually tell when Zach's lying or not telling the truth, and it seemed that way before he left. I know he was upset with Alex.. but maybe it was a good thing he left, I would rather him leave than get into an argument or fight with Alex.

Since Iris stays with Zach on the weekends, I decided to let her go with him instead of stay because I didn't want to cut their time short. But anyways, now we're all talking and just hanging out.

Co: "So, Y/n, how has your birthday been?"

He said.

Y/n: "It's been great, thank you guys for doing this for me."

I said, smiling.

Ka: "Of course! We love you."

She said, giving me a side hug.

Y/n: "I love you guys too."

I said, pulling away.

Ja: "I wish Zach would've stayed."

•Corbyn's POV•

I watched as Y/n nodded when Jack said that, then we hear Alex chuckle. I look at him to see him take a sip of his drink.

Al: "I think he should've at least let Iris stay."

He said, with a sarcastic looking smirk.

Y/n: "Well, He offered.. but I let him take her home so that she could spend more time with him."

Al: "Still though, it's your birthday.. and she's your kid too."

He said, seeming to not let it go.

Y/n: "I know.. but it's ok."

She said smiling.

Ch: "Everything's good."

She said, reassuring him.

Ja: "Yeah.. I know Zach would've let her stay."

Co: "Yeah."

I agreed.

Al: "Also, what was his problem?"

He said, bringing up another thing.

Jo: "Oh, don't mind anything he says.. he's just Zach."

He said.

Al: "Oh, so he's basically a jerk all the time?"

He said, laughing and taking another sip from his beverage. I just glared at him..

Co: "No.."

I said, he looked at me.

Al: "Well, I guess it's just me then."

He said, laughing again.

Ja: "Yeah.. probably."

I look at Jack to see that he looked pissed. Not gonna lie, I am too a little. Alex is the one being a jerk. Yeah, Zach did the same thing earlier, but Alex keeps pushing it to make him seem like a bad person.. which won't happen on our watch. I personally don't like Alex, never have. I believe Zach over him. Like who would randomly say that your kid looks just like theirs right in front of you just out of spite? It's fucked up. We don't play like that.
