•Zach's POV•
I stared at the fire as everyone else talked and laughed at something Jack had said, I noticed that Y/n hasn't come back yet, which seemed a little odd. She should've been back by now.
Za: "What time is it?"
I asked, Chloe looks at her phone.
Ch: "Seven thirty two."
She said, Y/n left five minutes ago..
Ja: "Y/n's been gone for a while."
He said.
Za: "Yeah, five minutes."
I said getting up.
La: "Are you going to check on her?"
Za: "Yeah."
La: "Here, I'll go with you."
She said, then we walked to the side of the house and she had her flashlight on. As we were walking, I noticed something on the ground.
Za: "Shine the light over here real quick."
I said, she did so and there I saw the charger, and my phone laying on the ground..
La: "What the hell.."
She said, I bend down and pick them up, looking at them. Then I looked around.
Za: "Y/n!?"
There wasn't an answer..
La: "Maybe she laid them down there, let's go check the driveway."
She said, walking towards the driveway, I followed her. We get to the driveway and to my car, but still.. no sign of her. That's when I began to panic.
Za: "Y/n!?"
I yelled, hoping for her to respond or appear somewhere. But there was nothing..
La: "I'll go get the others.."
She said, then ran back towards the backyard. I turned my flashlight on and walked around a bit, seeing if she was hiding or playing a trick on me.. but she wasn't behind or beside any of the cars. The others came back with their flashlights on, Chloe stayed with Iris inside.
Ja: "She's gone?"
La: "Yeah, we found the phone and charger on the ground.. but no sign of Y/n."
Da: "She isn't playing with us right now, is she?"
Za: "I don't know, she better not because it's not funny!"
I raised my voice, just in case she was and to let her know to stop. But still nothing. We all walked around, searching for Y/n. We even searched in the neighborhood.. but still no sign.
Co: "Let's take a break."
He said as we stood on the sidewalk.
Za: "No."
Ja: "Zach, we looked everywhere.. let's just chill for a second."
I shake my head, looking down
Ka: "She's not here, Zach.."
Za: "I'm not taking a fucking break."
I said, looking at all of them, they went silent.
Za: "She has to be here somewhere."
I said, looking around.
They just stood there, silent.
Za: "I mean.. she has to be."
