One Piece x Real World Reader

Chapter 5: Trust and Secrets.

A/N: this chapter is going to be about (y/n), slowly gaining the crew's trust. It won't be immediate but we're heading there.

The mugiwaras were sitting in the kitchen, at the dining table in Going Merry.

They were all eating and doing their thing. Luffy was being rowdy as always trying to steal food from others, getting kicked every time he tried stealing Nami's, (Y/N) and Sanji food by none other than the cook himself.

All in all they were enjoying their time and- as expected from Sanji-, the amazing food.

They finished and Sanji got up, cleaning the table.

Luffy and Usopp began playing around and making silly faces at each other making (y/n) laugh every time.

Zoro was drinking sake and just ignoring the two.

While Nami was looking sharply at the oblivious newest crew member.

"So... (y/n)'' the ginger haired called, making (y/n) tear her gaze from the playing duo and face her. She hummed showing that she was listening.

''How did you end up stranded on that island?'' Nami raised her eyebrows, watching the girls every expression and movement.

(y/n) jumped, surprised at the sudden question. She knew she had to tell them about her origin eventually, how she knew basically everything about them, and knew the future that awaited them.

She spent nights thinking of what she should do.

Should she interfere with the story? Or should she just watch from the sidelines?

She thought about just staying like a side character, not a marine, nor a pirate. But that bastard told her that if she doesn't entertain him he'll kill her. Besides, now that she joined the crew she couldn't just do nothing but eat and watch, she needed to earn her place- something which she has no idea how to do, she has no strength or any particular talent to add to the crew.

The modern girl worried a lot. She worried about her place in the crew and in the story in general.

''(y/n)?'' Nami called again, snapping the said girl from her thoughts.

Realizing that she kept her, no, all of them- they were all looking at her which made her even more nervous, not liking the attention-, waiting, she quickly scrambled through her brain for words.

Taking a deep breath, she looked at Nami and tried answering as honestly as possible.

''You see... A jerk thought it's a very funny idea'' (y/n) was annoyed as she remembered how that bastard being left her isolated and helpless on that island.

''Huh?'' They all sweat dropped at the answer.

''Why would anyone do that? Did you piss them off or something?'' This time it was Usopp who asked.

''Nope, I've never met them or knew anything about them my whole life, but from what I could understand they were bored'' (y/n) thought back to the time it said that she had to entertain it.

''Ehhhh this guy sure is weird'' Commented Luffy.

Oh you have no idea, (y/n) sighed.

''Do you know their name?'' Zoro inquired, curious about the person who left his newest crewmate in such a situation.

''No, but i like to call them bastard'' She didn't want to refer to the being as it in front of them.

Zoro nodded his head like what she just said made sense.
