'Just pull it out' I said as Justin freaked out about possibly burning his hand in the oven. 'Grab it' I said from my indian style position on the floor where I was petting Spencer and Jack. They were both so soft and cute. 'It's so fucking hot though' He said and I rolled my eyes. 'Justin that's what the mitts are for' I said and he sighed. He finally sucked it up and pulled the glass bowl out. 'Yes' I said and he laughed.

'There's a girl on my floor' I heard someone say, and I turned to see an older man in a suit. He resembled Justin a little, so I assumed it was my dad. 'Hey dad' Justin said as he took the mitts off. 'Are you gonna introduce me to this girl sitting on my floor' He said and I smirked, his dad was smiling so I assumed he wasn't upset. 'This is Chandler Monroe, Veronica's stepdaughter' Justin said. 'Oh the girl I saved from the welcome party?' He asked and I frowned as I stood up to properly greet him.

'Welcome party?' I asked. 'She wanted to throw a huge welcome party for you and your family, my wife was all for it. Took me a good ten minutes, and they were sick of all the reasons I said not to do it, so they dropped it' He said. 'I appreciate that so much then' I said as he shook my hand. 'You're welcome. So I guess it didn't take you more than 4.6 seconds to scoop her up' He said towards Justin as he pulled his blazer off.

'Fuck off dad' Justin mumbled as he tried to cut the pie. 'I will not fuck off Justin Drew' His dad said sarcastically as he ruffled Justin's hair. 'What is that?' He asked. 'Mom's apple pie' Justin said. 'Boner' He said, making me laugh a little. Justin looked up at me and smirked. 'She finds your raunchy jokes funny' Justin said. 'Then she's a keeper' His dad said. 'Leave that out, I'm gonna go shower' He continued as he left the kitchen with a beer. 'By the way Chandler I'm Andrew, and it was nice to meet you. I hope I didn't scare you away' He said and I shook my head.

'It was nice to meet you too' I said and he smiled as he left. 'Here' Justin said as he cut me a slice. 'Can we share this because I'm actually really full, but I don't wanna miss out on this' I said and he whipped out two forks. 'Sure' He said. 'What time is it?' I asked him and he looked at his phone on the counter. '9:45, why you gotta be somewhere?' He asked and I shook my head. 'Just Andy's later, but I'm not going anywhere for a while' I said, mainly because of the bottle of wine we finished.

'You could always stay here' He said. 'Was your plan to get me drunk so I couldn't leave?' I asked and he nodded. 'Obviously' He said as he stood against the counter, taking a bite of the pie. 'No, I hate when people aren't sitting and I am' I said and he narrowed his eyes at me. 'Just, come sit with me' I said and he smirked. 'Well I'm not gonna turn down that offer' He said and I stood up. Justin sat down on the seat, pulling me back onto his lap. 'I like this' He whispered against my neck. 'I bet you do' I said as I continued to eat.

'So, did you have a nice time?' He asked me as my fork hung from my mouth. It was strange how comfortable I was around Justin. More comfortable than I feel in my own house, with what's supposed to be my family. He had this auroa about him that just made you drop your guard, I felt like I've known him for a lot longer than a week. I just couldn't help but think I probably would have never known him if it wasn't for Beth's project though.

'I had a really nice time' I said as I pulled the fork from my mouth. He gave me this look, like he trying to figure something out. I pulled my head away for a second, making him smile. 'You're beautiful Chandler' He said and I smiled. 'That's the wine speaking' I said and he used both of his hands to push my hair behind my ears. 'I don't need wine to say that' He whispered, making me blush. 'Oh' I said as he held my face in his hands. He looked between my eyes and lips before he leaned in.

This would be our actual first kiss. This one wouldn't be to prove a point, it'd be because we both wanted to do it. I wanted to kiss Justin so bad, but I didn't even know if I was good. Which actually scared me, because with Cory I hadn't really cared. But, with Justin I really did care what he thought about me. So, I stopped him. 'What's wrong?' He asked as I grabbed his shoulders, stopping him from moving forward. 'You've probably kissed a lot of girls' I said and he grinned, while angling his head. 'But I haven't kissed a lot of guys' I said, instantly regretting that I had said that.
