'I'm hot' Andy yelled as she fanned herself. She held her stick up as Beth joined her for a happy dance due to her third goal. Chaz took that as an opportunity to pick up Andy, tossing her over his shoulder. I still wondered how they were only friends, they acted more like a couple than Kent and Beth did.
I smacked Justin's back to get his attention. 'What the fuck, what?' He asked. Thanks to me, he dropped the ball he was juggling with his stick. 'Why aren't Chaz and Andy dating?' I asked him. He shrugged. 'I don't know' He said, before he tried to continue to juggle, so I hit him again. 'Jesus!' He groaned as the ball fell to the sand. 'They're so cute' I said as I watched Chaz try and shove sand in her bathing suit, well somewhat cute. Justin ran his fingers through his hair as he scooped up the ball. 'Andy likes being single' He said before he caught the ball with his left hand.
'They'd be cute' I said. 'You just said that' He continued to juggle with his stick, his black Ray Bans covering his eyes. 'Emphasis' I watched them, they had a really simple chemistry. 'What should I make tonight?' He asked, completely switching topics. 'Something really good' I said. 'That's not going to happen, you see who I'm working with right' He said. I looked up at Chaz throwing sand all over the place, while Cory desperately struck out with this girl near the shore line. Johnny was sitting next to Cat, who looked like she was half asleep, while Kent made a sand castle with Beth because she probably thought it'd be a relationship goals worthy Instagram. Why did we nominate the guys to make dinner?
'I'll get ingredients with you' I said with a smile. I wanted to spend some time alone with Justin while we were here, even if it was just going to the store. 'If you want' He said. I watched him run his fingers through his hair again before he reached for my belt loop. 'You've got sand on your face' He said, rubbing the crystals off my forehead. 'Thanks babe' I sort of whispered the last part, which made him smile. 'You look so good right now' His thumb trailed the strap of my tank top. 'With sand on my face?' I asked him. 'Especially with sand on your face' He said. 'Nice line' I said as I pulled my fingers through his hair. I couldn't not touch it, I mean c'mon.
'No, don't do that' He moaned as he tried to fix it. 'I like it messy, don't touch it!' I yelled at him. My hands clenching his waist, as he deliberately ignored me, fixing it anyway. 'Justin' I said. 'Chan' He mumbled as he brought his eye back to mine, pleased with his adjustment. 'Wow' I said. 'I know right, I can do it without a mirror, pretty fascinating' He said. I rolled my eyes, almost immediately noticing how much Justin hated when I did. 'Oops' I said as I traced his roman numeral tattoo with my index finger. His left hand slightly pinched me, as he used his other hand to pull me closer. 'Ow' I mumbled.
'Would you ever get tattoos?' He asked. I looked at his arms before I looked back at him. 'Not as many as me, like one?' He rephrased. 'I don't know, I have no idea what I'd get' I said. 'Something of value to you' He said. 'I don't know' I said. 'You don't have a favorite line from a book or something?' He asked. I actually did, don't live worried to die. And there was one martini, two martinis, three martinis, floor. But, my dad would kill me if that was what I chose to permanently mark myself with. 'Maybe' I said. 'Well, don't rule it out. They're good for people who don't always talk about their feelings. You can show things a different way' He said. 'Is that why you got them?' I asked. 'Well partially, they also radiate my sexiness for me' He said, resulting in a much more forceful pinch from me.
'Self centered much' I said. His arms wrapped around my shoulders as he pulled me in for a hug. We all left the beach and went back to the house shortly after Justin dumped a bucket of sand on my head. The guys, and Cat, found it beyond hilarious. While, I couldn't have been less in the mood to pick fucking miniature rocks out of my hair and clothes. However, due to Justin's ego, we still had to leave for the store almost immediately, giving me practically zero time to clean up the mess he created.
