I lost interest in swimming. I peeled off my bathing suit, and got into something else. I wasn't going to be a downer, but I felt like I would be no matter what. At this moment, the last people I wanted to see were Justin and Cat. I felt terrible for what I had said, and I didn't even know how to show Justin I liked him. On the other hand, his stalker was downstairs, and I wanted desperately for her to leave now.

Running my fingers through my hair, I left my room and headed for the kitchen. Various screams and splashes could be heard from down the hall, and I was happy that they were all having fun. Entering the kitchen, I wasn't surprised to see Kent and Cory raiding the kitchen cabinets and fridge. 'Ay, Chan where have you been?' Cory asked me as he and Kent equally stuffed their arms with food.

'Wasn't feel too well, decided not to go swimming' I said and they both frowned. 'Do you guys need help?' I asked. 'Yes please' Kent said, making me laugh as I crossed the kitchen to relieve his arm's load. I followed them outside to bring all the food out the the tables. 'Yes' Johnny yelled as he jogged over, lacrosse stick in his left hand. 'Chan, you okay?' He asked. 'Yeah, just not really up for swimming' I said and he nodded.

'Oh, strawberries' Cat said as she approached the table, dripping wet. I was about to walk past her, until she decide to squeeze her hair out right next to me. I looked down at my wet foot, and bit the inside of my lip. 'Fucking hell' I mumbled. 'What Chan?' She asked. 'Fuck off Cat' I said and she smirked. 'That's not a nice way to treat your guest' She said. 'You wouldn't be my guest, trust me, I wouldn't have invited you if I had any say' I said, making her smirk.

'That's the thing, you don't have any say.' She said. 'And why is that?' I asked her. 'You're irrelevant Chandler, when school starts, you're little reign that you think you have will be long gone' She said. 'Well, at least I'll have someone to come to, to get some tips on how to cope with rejection' I said, not realizing how easy the words fell out of my mouth. 'He didn't reject me' She said as she closed the space in between us.

'Looks like he did' I said. 'What is going on over here?' Beth asked as she approached us. 'Your sister needs to be careful' Cat said and Beth scoffed. 'Cat, calm down' She said. 'No Beth, she thinks she's the shit. I bet you were a nobody wherever the fuck you came from and you're just loving all this attention you're getting for the first time' She said, well at least the bitch has a good intuition. 'Cat, don't talk about her like that' Beth defended me. 'It's probably because I'm right' She continued, pissing me off to no end.

My eyes flashed to how close we were to pool. 'I usually am righ-'Cat' Beth said. That was it, and it all happened so quick. One second I was pushing her back, and the next her arm was pulling me in with her. 'What the fuck?' She asked me and I pushed her again, now soaked in my clothes. 'You're an idiot' She said as she pushed me. 'And you're a fucking five year old, just get over yourself. He doesn't want you, so what? How the fuck is that my fault?' I asked her, before I felt my head go underwater.

She was not trying to drown me right now. I was not going to die on this earth by the hands of this psycho bitch. 'Cat, what the fuck?' I heard someone yell, and I heard a loud splash into the water. I felt, two arms pull my waist back, and the grip on my shoulders released. I came up to the surface, taking in a sharp breath.

'I'm gonna kill her' I said, not even checking who it was that saved my life, well she probably wouldn't have killed me, but still. 'No you're not' He said and I moved my hair from my face. Justin. Justin who looked so damn good. 'Come on' He said as he pulled me over to the steps. Johnny was already forcing Cat out the side gate alongside Beth, and all I could hear was yelling.

'Here' Justin said as we left the pool, and he jogged towards a lawn chair. He picked up a white towel, and brought it back over to me. 'Thanks' I said and he nodded. I really didn't want to drip throughout the entire house, so I decided to strip. I left my towel on, and pulled my shorts and shirt off. 'Ok' Justin said and I shook my head.
