Making about three food stops, and one for the bathroom, we made it to Kent's beach house in one piece. It was absolutely gorgeous, inside and out. There were 6 bedrooms, and 11 of us. It was obvious that Sam and Allison would share a room, and same for Kent and Beth. Which took two out of three of the normal sized beds. Chaz demanded that he get the third one, so the rest of us were stuck with twins. So with three beds left and six people, it was an interesting situation.
'Well I'm not sleeping with a guy, but I'm also not sleeping with Chan because she's my sister' Johnny said. 'Well we'll just do guy girl then' Cory said. 'Alright, I call Chan' Justin said unexpectedly, and I almost involuntarily looked at Cat. It was almost too easy to see she was disappointed and slightly annoyed. But then again, I told myself I'd go after what I wanted. The new Chandler would now think of herself a little more.
'Do I get a say?' I asked him. 'Cory snores so' He said and Cory groaned. 'No I don't' He said. 'I'm sleeping with Johnny then' Andy said, causing Justin to laugh. 'Well, Cat loves me regardless' Cory said and Cat smiled, a fake smile might I add. 'Well, choose your rooms guys because some have better views than the others' Kent said and I went to grab my stuff. 'Follow me, I know where a good room is' Justin said as I got a hold of my bags.
I followed Justin to a room that was on the level we were already on. It was actually beautiful, the sun streamed through the window perfectly. There was a balcony that overlooked the beach, it was nice. I was trying to avoid the lingering thought of the twin bed that Justin and I were going to be sharing. It was pretty wide for a twin, but it was still a twin. 'You ok with sleeping with me, I didn't mean to put you on the spot?' He said as he opened up his bag. 'Yeah' I said. 'Or did you wish you got Cory?' He asked and I shook my head.
'It was nice of you to pick me, and I'm glad you did' I said and he nodded. 'But, I don't think Cat's too keen on it' I said. 'Well, if you weren't even here, I wouldn't have picked Cat anyway' He said and I nodded to myself. I probably shouldn't hold something against him that he has no real control over. He doesn't like her back, that's that. But, the thought that he might like me, that's something else.
'There's a bathroom over here' He said from the inside of it and I went through my bag for a bathing suit. 'Ok, uh, so do you wanna go to the-' He walked out with his shirt off, running a finger through his hair. 'The what?' He asked. I couldn't help but glance at his body. He was just so defined, and his tattoos were just so distinctive. 'Chan' He said snapping me out of my thoughts.
'Oh, uh the beach. The beach' I said and he smirked. 'Me and you?' He asked and I shrugged. 'I mean with the others or- 'You're cute' He said before he went back into his bag in search for something. I shut my eyes tightly, knowing he was probably laughing hysterically in his head. 'I'm gonna change' I said as I walked by him and into the bathroom. I put on my bandeau style bikini, and then slipped my shorts back on. I took a deep breath before I left the bathroom with my shirt in my left hand. Walking by him, I placed my shirt back into my bag and grabbed my sunglasses. I brought one of my books because I didn't think bringing one to the beach would be strange at all.
'So, we can go now' He said, getting a little quieter as he said the word 'now'. I caught him glance at my body for a split second, before he looked at my eyes again. 'I'm sure the others are down to go too' He said and I nodded as I slid my glasses on. He pulled on this tan bucket hat, causing me to roll my eyes. 'What?' He asked. 'Nothing' I said. 'You don't like my hat?' He asked as if he was offended. 'But Chan, how can you not like it?' He asked before he pursed his lips at me.
'Please say you like it' He whined and I smirked. 'Please Chan, please Chan' He begged as he approached me. 'Please' He said again and I smiled. 'It looks great on you' I said and he hugged me, wrapping his arms around my waist. 'Thanks' He said, dragging his fingertips against my bare back as he pulled away. 'You know what, it'll look even better on you' He said and I shook my head. 'Justin, you don't have to give me your hat' I said and he smirked. 'Ok then' He said and I was kind of disappointed. Yeah it's a hat, but it's his hat.
