Everyone knows not to mess with the Monaghan twins, especially their younger step brother, James. If one of them caught you laying a hand on their step sibling, they'd simply rip that hand off.

When the twins were five, their father got remarried to Tiffany Wheeler, who was formally married to Mark Wheeler, but he decided to be a dead beat dad and take off to California, leaving his wife and son in Hawkins. Now Mark was the younger brother of Ted Wheeler, which meant James was related to Mike Nancy and Holly.

When Tiffany and Joseph got married, the twins immediately took James under their wing, and accepted the Wheelers as their new cousins, as they didn't have any until them.

Growing up all of them know each other as cousins, even though the only one blood related to them was James, but they didn't mind, they liked the idea of having more cousins, especially Nancy when it came to Beatrice.

It took awhile for Tiffany to accept her step kids, but she finally came around, as for Joseph, he didn't really like any of kids, never really paying attention to them, he would never lay a finger on James, occasionally abusing the twins when they'd get an F or come home later, or simply disobeyed him. But they'd always run to the Wheelers or Byers, the two families accepting them as their own.

Not many new that the retired chief abused his kids, only immediate family or family friends really knew, the twins were terrified of what would happen if word got out he abused them, scared of what he might do.

Beatrice, aka Bea, wad the automatic queen of Hawkins high, always hooking up with boys in the backseat of her 72' black chevelle, or in the janitor closets at school. She lost track of her body count in sophomore year.

But as for Matthew, aka Matt, he fought Steve Harrington for the king title, although he had it longer and more often then Steve, the two always fighting of who's hair was better, but then a new family roles in, and the son joins in on the party of fighting for the king role.

But that boy, catches Bea's eye, in a way no boy ever has.

This story will not be exactly like the plot line, and spoiler alert, Billy will not be dying. I'm gonna have someone else get flayed instead of him, and he will be going on the adventures with all of them. So he knows about the upside down and that stuff. Also most of the songs I mention in this story weren't released yet but let's pretend they are, it's my story and I can do what I want with it. Also if they are any Grammer mistakes please feel free to correct them! And I assure you they're will be many.
