Touch Of Death

We'll meet again.

"There's no ignition cable."Billy told Jonathan. 

"Same here."

Nancy and I stepped out the car, looking at the car in the distance.

"Is that dad?"James asked standing next to me, I nodded.

He revved his engine, turning the headlights on.

"Get inside!"Matt yelled ushering everyone inside.

As everyone started panicking, I walked towards the center of the mall, staring up at the glass ceiling.

"Bea?"Billy asked

"He knows."I stated

"Who?"Mike asked

"He knows we're here,"I turned my head to look at them, "he's, here."

They all looked at the ceiling, seeing the creature staring down at us through the glass, Billy grabbed my arm pulling me behind the car along with Will Jonathan Nancy Lucas and Matt. 

Just than the glass started to break, not long after, the glass shattered, and there was a loud thud making the ground beneath us vibrate.

"Where's James?"I asked Matt.

"He's with Max Mike and El."he whispered, I lifted my head up, looking in the reflection of the car mirror, seeing the mind flayer standing in the center.

Lucas stood up, shooting a balloon, Jonathan grabbed my hand leading us all out, I held onto Billy's tightly.

Jonathan and Billy hurried to put the ignition cable from the car inside into Nancy's car, Matt and Nancy ushering all the kids into the car, I stood with one of Nancy's guns pointing at my dad's car, a giant Crack in the windshield.

I started shooting the glass while he raced towards us.

"Bea!"Billy yelled since I just stood there.

Just as he was a few feet away from me, a car collided with his sending it flying across the parking lot, I glanced at him, his head hanging to the side.

I looked at the other car, seeing Steve behind the steering wheel panting.

Just than, all our walkies went off, and a little girls voice was talking.

"I want to hear it!"

"Not right now,"

"Yes now Dustybun!"

"Aw shit."

I couldn't help but laugh when Dustin started singing never ending story.

I looked back at Matt and Billy, seeing they were laughing their asses off.

By the time they finished, we all were squished into a car.

"You just saved the world."

"Gosh I miss you Dustybun."

"I miss you more Suziepoo."

"I miss you more multipled by all the stars in the galaxy."

"No I miss you-"

"Enough!"Erica yelled.

"Eat my ass you ugly piece of shit!"I yelled, throwing fireworks at the monster.

I looked back at Billy, holding my hand out for more, yelling his name when nothing happened.

"We're out!"he yelled up at me, I looked down at my dad hovering over El.

Her hand was on his cheek, he slowly got up looking at the creature.

I raced to the steps, standing at the bottom watching it all unfold.

"No!"Dad screamed, wrapping his hands in the tentacle, grunting loudly.

I saw some kids appear in the doorway, but I didn't look at them. I was to focused on my dad.

Just than, a tentacle attached to its side, then the other, he slowly let go of the one he had a grip on, his shoulders dropping back.

The one he held moments ago retracted, shooting itself into his chest, blood flying out of his mouth, his shoulders curling.

"Dad!"I screamed.

The creature dropped him to the ground, one of the kids in the doorway immediately running to his side, when I saw it was James, I ran to his side. Sobbing at the sight.

"I'm sorry."he choked out, looking up at both of us.

"Dad."James sobbed, laying his head on our fathers bloody chest.

"We'll meet again."Dad smiled up at me, this made me sob even more.

That used to be my favorite song, everytime I ran away, or my dad left, or someone died, I'd say we'll meet again.

And when my mom left, she cupped mine and Matt's cheek and told us, 'we'll meet again'

I watched his hand fall off of James, his chest stopped moving.

"Some sunny day."I whispered, sobbing.

A pair of muscular arms pulled me back into a hug, I could already tell it was Billy,  Max pulled my brother into a hug.

Billy ran his fingers through my tangly hair as I sobbed into his shoulder.

I sat in the back of am ambulance, a blanket wrapped around me and Billy, us huddling together in it.

Max and James shared a blanket as well behind us, making small talk.

I looked around for Hopper and Joyce, my eyes shooting to Will when he ran out of the ambulance next to us, I followed where he was going, seeing Joyce standing there.

She sobbed into his shoulder, she looked at El, then at me.

She slyly shook her head, making me start sobbing again, I left Billy's grip going to pull El into a hug, sobbing into her shoulder.
