"Has anyone talked to Eddie recently?"Matt looked up from his hands, we all shared looks.

"Shit shit shit."we all shouted, I dove onto the couch grabbing the walkie off the stand bringing it to my lips, everyone surrounding me.

"Eddie? You there buddy? Eddie, answer me!"

"Bout damn time."his voice came through the static, I barely could make out what he said.

"Where are you?"Dustin snatched the walkie from me.

"Skull rock. It happened again guys. Someone else died, and- and I ran again. And they just keep blaming me."

"Hey look, your ok, just stay where you are and we'll come to you. Okay?"I spoke as we all crowded into the cars.

"Okay."

"Eddie?"Robin yelled as we all searched the woods, Dustin and Steve still arguing about who was right.

"It's no use. He's probably not even out here, something probably spooked him and he ran. Typical Eddie."Billy sighed, standing right in front of Skull rock.

I grinned when Eddie jumped down from it landing behind Billy, he gripped the boys shoulders tightly, "boo."

"Fucking christ."Billy jumped away from him, walking towards me.

"I scare you Hargrove?"Eddie grinned, before looking at Dustin.

I walked off with Billy while they all talked it out, "you okay?"

"Oh yeah, besides the fact my sister could die any second, I watched your mom crumble in the air, and Eddie the freak Munson just scared the living shut out of me. I'm totally fine."he rambled, tangling his fingers in his hair.

"Billy, Max isn't going to die. We're going to save her. I promise."I rubbed his arm, he stared at me, hope flashing in his eyes. I gasped when he embraced me in a tight hug.

"You two okay?"Max asked making her towards us, Billy pulled away refusing to look at her, I watched him wipe his eye while sniffling.

"Yeah."I smiled softly when his voice broke.

"What? Just because I'm here you can't hug anymore? C'mere."she walked towards, pulling us both into a hug.

Billy looked surprised, but hesitantly hugged her back.

"I won't let anything happen to you, okay? I promise you. Nothings gonna happen, the fucker'll have to take me before he can touch a hair on your head."Billy pulled back to look at her, she smiled up at him, he kissed her head pulling her into another hug.

I hesitantly walked away to let them have their moment.

"They okay?"Steve asked standing by me.

"Yeah. Just two siblings bonding."I smiled looking back at them.

"Speaking of. I know two siblings who need to make up and apologize to each other."Matt said, pushing James towards me.

Him and Steve walked away leaving me and James.

"C'mon everyone! Let's get a move on. Hustle ladies, hustle."Dustin yelled, we all stared walking in little pairs.

Billy and Max walked behind James and I making small talk. While me and James just kinda walked next to each other, not talking or making eye contact.

"Oh c'mon you too. You can't hate each other forever. Your siblings, your stuck with each other, forever."Matt suddenly said, walking in between us jogging up to Steve and Robin.

I shivered at the thought of being stuck with those idiots forever.

I sighed glancing over at him, "I'm sorry."

"For what?"

I shot him a look, "don't make me say it."

"Say it."he stared me dead in the eye.

I sighed dramatically, stepping on a leaf, frowning when it didn't crunch, "I'm sorry, for shoving you, calling Tiffany a whore, and saying whatever happens to her is her fault. Basically I'm sorry about that whole night."

"And I'm sorry for egging you on to hit me, and calling you your dad, and everything else I said."

"We good now?"I turned to him

"Hm, I think we'll be good if you do all my chores and make my bed for a month."he tapped his chin.

"A week."

"Three."

"Two."

"Fine."I groaned, rolling my eyes.

"I love you."he whispered, wrapping his arm around my shoulder, laying his head on it.

"I love you too doofus."I smiled, laying my head on his, wrapping my arm around his waist.

"Finally!"Matt yelled looking back at us, we both flipped him off.

"Do you think we can actually save Max?"

"To be honest, I really don't know. I want to say yes, but I have a bad feeling about this one. Like, we're not gonna win. I don't know, just, loom at the bright side for now. Okay?"I looked down at him, then back at Max and Billy.

Billy had his arm dangling over Max's shoulder, her head on his chest since it couldn't reach his shoulder.

Max gave me a pleading look, I giggled letting go off James.

"Go, your girlfriend needs your help."I smiled

"She's not my girlfriend."he scoffed

"At the moment."I laughed walking towards Billy.

James stood on the other side of Max, he swiftly wrapped his arm around her waist, I grabbed Billy's arm spinning him around while James pulled Max away.

"Hey-"Billy started but I cut him off with my lips.

"She had enough brother time, I get my boyfriend time now."I wrapped my arm around his neck while his arm snaked around my waist, ahead of his James and Max walked in a similar position of ours.

"Watch the hand Wheeler!"Billy shouted at him, I smacked his chest smiling softly.
