The next morning, Des greeted Cat with a lazy smile as she walked into their living room. She ruffled her already messy hair as she sat down on the couch next to Cat. Cat grinned at her, and then looked at her with a cocked eyebrow, waiting for her best friend to tell her every last detail of yesterday's date. Des just rolled her eyes and turned her body towards Cat's.

"Well I would tell you what happened, but I'm quite sure you've already got an idea," Des told Cat, mimicking the girl's expectant face.

"Whatever do you mean Wendy?" Cat quoted the play the two of them were in in high school (Peter Pan), earning a giggle from Destiny.

"A little fairy, told me that he came to you for some information," Des joked back.

"You do realize you just called your boyfriend a fairy right?" Cat messed with her best friend. Des just rolled her eyes and glared at the grinning girl. "So I would assume it went well?" Cat questioned.

"You would be correct to assume so," Des responded, trying to keep her goofy, lovesick grin under control.

Cat laughed at her friend saying, "Good! I actually approve of him. I like you two together."

Des bit her lip to contain the grin, "Well that's fortunate, because I like us together as well." Cat just rolled her eyes at Des being girly. "How did your day go?" Des questioned.

"It um, it was alright. I didn't really do much," Cat shrugged, obviously withholding information. So Des just gave her a face that said 'seriously?' "What?" Cat threw up her hands in defense.

Des just looked at her knowingly and said, "Spill."

"There's nothing to..." Cat started, but could see Des wasn't buying it, "Ugh... I hate you... Fine!" This made Destiny smile in triumph. "I was with Luke yesterday."

"Shocker," Des giggled, automatically intrigued.

"Shut up," Cat glared. Des was obviously expecting more information being that she leaned in closer to let her friend know she was listening. "I'm not telling you anything until it gets serious," she pushed Des away, disappointing the girl.

"Ugh. Whatever..." she shrugged, and moved on, knowing how stubborn Cat could be.

They spent the rest of the day in their pajamas watching movies, thankful that they didn't have anything to do. They made plans to go over and visit the boys tomorrow, and called it a day.
