Des was snuggled into Michael's uninjured side taking in every little detail about him. She was still beating herself up for being so dumb, but she didn't mention it, knowing that if she did, he would get on to her.

"So where should we start?" he peered up at her through his beautifully long eyelashes.

"I'm really sorry Mikey... I didn't mean for anything like this to happen... I told the Kellin we're going home," Des smiled sadly at him.

"Destiny... We don't have to go home. It was just some douche bag at a club. It could've happened anywhere," he reassured her.

"Michael... You need to rest right now. You can't be on tour with me anymore, and I want to be with you and take care of you babe. The thought that it could have been way more serious... I could've... I could've lost you..." She choked back tears, "... that is not something I'm prepared to deal with. I know we haven't been together long, but you honestly mean so much to me. I feel like I can finally be happy and be myself when I'm around you, and you never fail to make me smile, and I don't want to imagine a life without you in it." She furrowed her brow at all of the things she just brought to his attention. He just smiled softly, and lifted her gaze towards his own.

"Look, I know it was scary, but the thing is, I'm ok. Please do not blame yourself for this. I understand if you want to go home, but don't think about losing me or anything like that. I'm not going anywhere, baby. You're stuck with me whether you like it or not," he winked at her.

"I love it," she pressed a soft kiss to his cheek. As she started to turn her head back to its original position, he stopped her, grabbing her face, and kissing her like they would never kiss again. His lips fitting perfectly with hers. His hands roaming her body, and hers tangled in his hair, until they both ran out of breath.

"This may be cheesy or whatever, but I honestly think that day in the studio was destiny. Your name just ironically fit the situation. I know we haven't been together for super long, but I think we've been through enough together, and I need you to know that I love you Des," Michael slightly blushed at his confession.

"I love you too, you crazy colorful boy," she smiled sweetly and gave him another small kiss.

"AWWWWWWWWWW," Cat came bursting through the door, with Luke trying to hold her back and failing miserably, the other lads in the hallway laughing at them.

"I should have known," Des giggled into Michael's neck as he just shrugged.

"You know, you guys are really disgustingly cute," Ash grimaced as he entered the room, followed by Calum. At that, Michael simply kissed the top of her head, earning a chorus of 'awwws' from the group.

"In other news, the doctors said their gonna get all the discharge papers and all that shit since Mike is stable enough to go home," Cal piped up.

"We've already taken care of the ride home and everything," Luke added. They managed to make it through the long checkout process from the hospital, and the stressful ride home, making it home safe and sound. When they got to the house, they all helped Mike to his room, being that he was a bit sore, and then went their separate ways. Cal and Ash going to their separate rooms to take a nap, and of course Des staying with Michael, and Cat going with Luke.

They all fell asleep with smiles on their faces, simply glad to be home.
