"You cannot be serious." Stella's father said as he turned to face his daughter's heads of security.
Austin and Hugo nodded slowly.
"Actually Sir, we've never been more serious." Austin spoke as the pair remained firm with their hands behind their backs.
Her father stuttered as he fumbled over what to say. "This is a fucking joke! They're bloody civilians! There's no way I'd be leaving them in charge with her safety!" He snapped.
"With all due respect Sir, with adequate training, they could prove to be a worthy team." Hugo spoke.
Her father began pacing as he rubbed his eyes. "I don't fucking believe this." He grumbled to himself. "How are they in any way shape or form, fit to protect her?!"
Austin glanced at Hugo before back at his boss.
"Again Sir, with all due respect, they have done it before."
Her father sighed as he continued pacing up and down.
"And what about the blonde one? The Merrill kid?"
Austin and Hugo shared another glance.
"That is the only problem Sir." Hugo answered finally.
"No fucking shit." Her dad scoffed. "One of many problems about this idea that's for fucking sure!" He snapped.
Salvatore walked into the room gaining everyone's attention.
"Is she okay?" Her father asked instantly, knowing he had been in the room with the boys and daughter.
Salvatore nodded. "She is a lot more happier now she's in their company Sir."
Her father nodded slowly. "Good. I assume you've heard this suggestion?" He asked, waving his hand towards Austin and Hugo.
Salvatore nodded. "I have Sir."
"And?" He snapped expectantly.
Salvatore looked towards Austin and Hugo before looking back. "It appears to be a collective suggestion Sir."
"You all agree?" Her father asked confused.
"Yes Sir." Salvatore finished as he moved closer to stand beside Hugo.
The pair shared a silent glance before looking back at her father. Even though Salvatore himself was against the idea, the idea of standing by his team was always more important.
"Right well." He started but stopped himself. "How are we doing with Operation Bullet?"
"The men are looking into it Sir, considering this mornings incident." Hugo reported.
Her father nodded slowly. "Call in whoever you need. I want it done."
"If I may speak Sir." Austin started.
"Is it another stupid suggestion?" Her father asked sarcastically.
Austin remained silent as her father waved his hand.
"What is it?"
"Sir, knowing she is the clear target. There is a chance we can use her to catch them."
Her father stared at him blankly. "Are you suggesting we use my daughter as some type of live fucking bait?!"
Austin was silent.
"It could work Sir.." Hugo started but stopped as he received a glare.
"It could also get her killed!" He snapped angrily.
