Athena

The rest of Saturday after Logan left and I talked with Beatrix I pretty much just spent the day trying to get my head together.

There was so much that had happened in the past week and honestly I didn't know how to feel. I hadn't see my Dad since the incident, thankfully he hadn't come home. He was probably crashing on someone's couch or sleeping on a bench.

I was doing my best to look past it but how was I supposed, I felt sick even going downstairs in my own house. I think not being able to remember it was probably for the best one of gods cruel mystery's but I had been unconscious. I don't know what he did, how long. It made me feel sick.

I tried to push the memory of it out of my head and get dressed. I had to work today witch was fine, I enjoyed waitressing at the caffe it meant I didn't have to be at home and it was on the beach after all.

My 9-5 shift felt like it had been going on for hours on end, it was pretty slow today meaning I spent most of the time staring into the distance.

I head the bell on the entrance door and snapped out of my haze to get ready to take there order.

As I was walking over with my notepad and pen I noticed the boy I talked with at Aidens part who got me the drink that started everything.

I cleared my throat approaching the booth him and his group sat at, I noticed some of them I'm pretty sure there all in the lacrosse team with Logan.

"Hey guys what can I get for you" I said giving them a polite smile. My eyes landed on Max waiting for them to answer, all though he gave me the drink he didn't try anything that night he was mostly nice a little overly flirty but mostly fine.

"Hey Athena" Max snickered lightly as he friends give him eyes and laugh. I brush past it and look with purpose to them, I asked for there order and there staring at me like I asked them to take there cloths of.

"Sooo, anything?" I said again more forcefully. Looking around the table praying for someone to actually order.

Thankfully they did and I wrote it all down quickly so I could walk away from the awkward situation as soon as possible.

"That will all be out for you soon" I smiled and turned around rolling my eyes.

They were all looking at me so weirdly, there's no doubt they were all at the party they're probably just laughing at me because I was so drunk. God I hope I didn't make a fool of myself.

waiting for the chef to bring out the food I waited patiently at the counter tapping my pen on the side, I could tell the boys were staring at me I could feel there eyes in the back of my head but refused to turn around and give them any attention.

The bell rang again and I thanked the lord I had an excuse to do something.

I turned around and came face to face with Logan Keery.

I hadn't spoken to him since he left yesterday. There was so much unspoken between us now I didn't know how to approach him. He saw me at my lowest and stayed.

Before I could walk over to him he sat down with the rest of his team mates and I quickly turned back around, should have guessed he came with them.
