Logan

I woke up Monday morning to Athena curled up to my chest holding onto my shirt tightly. I gently reached my arm up that was wrapped underneath her and stroked her knuckle that was grasping my shirt getting her to relax her hold.

I laid there in silence for a moment, one hand stroking her the other rubbing circles on her waist. She took a few minutes to come into consciousness as her eyes fluttered open.

"morning Thena" I smiled down to her. she released her hold on my shirt and rubbed her eyes rolling out of my hold. I felt instantly cold and empty. "morning" she yawned.

I hummed an answer and brought my hand up to twirl her hair in my finger tips. "you feel ok this morning Thea?" I said refuting to our fight last night and her coming in to my room in the middle of the night.

"mmhm I'm fine" she said smiling slightly back at me. Before I got a chance to answer she spoke again, "shouldn't we be getting ready for school" she sat up in bed running her fingered through her curls.

I nodded sitting up next to her. "We both have a free period first so we have some time before we have to leave" I said leaning against the headboard.

She looked at me confused for a second. "You know my class schedule?"

Confession, I've kept an eye on her all these years. How could I not, I cared about her so much I know I let her go all those years ago but I never forgot about her. "I always payed attention to you Thena. With out sounding like a stalker, I watched out for you" I said with a smile.

She smiled at me briefly before turning away facing forward, a faint blush tainting her cheeks.

We were now sat in our photography lesson listing to our teacher explain more details about our project.

"You will have your summer to complete your project with your partner and will be presenting it the first week of the semester next year." He said looking around the class. We now only had two weeks till summer and I can honestly say I'm excited, I spend my summer surfing all day and hanging with Aid at the beach. Now I have Athena back in my life we have a whole summer together.

"I would like a project outline of what you plan on doing before the end of the week so I can give you some notes before we end for summer" Athena looked over at me and smiled before returning her attention to the class.

We broke off with our partners to talk about our project while the teacher went around talking to the pairs.

"We should go out again to take pictures before Friday so we have something to show him" Athena said to me before pulling out her notebook.

"What days are you working? We go whenever I'll make the time for you" I said smiling.

I swear I caught her blush again before she cleared her throat looking down briefly. "I'm working today and Wednesday this week that's it" she explained.

"Perfect I'll drop you off after school I have lacrosse practice so I can come get you after."
