I woke up with a start.
"The Angel!" I gasped, and then there was a loud clang as my head hit the bunk bed above me.
Wait. Bunk bed? No angels were here, no Sherlock, and I was in my bed. In my room.
And it was somehow nighttime.
In the the bunk above me, there was a rustling sound above me. Suddenly, there was the upside down face of Gabi.
"You were unconsious all day." she said plainly. "So I'm assuming Sherlock is awake, too."
"Is he okay?" I asked, not even bothering to hide the concern in my voice."
"Probably. But who cares? I've got this."
Gabi got down from her bunk, flipping on the lightswitch. I flinched from sudden light, and was temporarily blinded. When the blindness passed, there was a phone right in front of me.
Well, it was actually a picture.
Of me and Sherlock.
Cuddling.
"What the-" I started, making a grab for the phone so I could delete the picture. Gabi instantly moved it away.
"Nah ah." she said. "This is mah blackmail."
I looked at her.
"Since when do you talk like that?" I asked.
"Since now. Duh." Gabi said, sticking her tongue out. That's when I struck. I.grabbed her arms, trying to get the phone. Instead, the phone clattered to the floor, and we both clipped the side of a shelf, making most of the objects fall to the ground.
We both froze, and then Gabi started to giggle. It wasn't a normal giggle, because it bordered on hysteria. Maybe it was the stress of the day, and all my pent-up and confusing emotions dealing with Sherlock and other things, but I started giggling, too.
It started turning into full on laughing. We eventually couldn't stand anymore and collapsed to the floor. The door burst open and in came John and a tired but worried-lokking Sherlock.
"What's happened?!" John asked. Gabi and I looked at each other, then the two boys, and burst into laughter again.
"Oh.... My...... Gosh!" I said in between laughs. "Your...... Faces!"
That only set Gabi of even more. We were there for what felt like forever, just laughing. After a while, we finally died down, just errupting into random giggles.
"Well." John said. "That happened."
"Don't say anything even remotely funny!" Sherlock yelped. "They might start laughing again!"
That almost made me laugh again, but I just giggled and said, "Curly, I'm liable to start laughing at any random word."
"Like cheese." Gabi whispered, and laughed again. I just giggled at how horrified Sherlock looked.
"Okay, you two need to go to bed." John said, crossing over, and helping Gabi up. As he did, he accidentally kicked a book aside.
At once, both Gabi and I stopp laughing immediately, and focused on what was uncovered.
A single gold watch decorated with circles.
Both boys were taken aback by sudden change in mood. Gabi snatched the watch up and got to her feet, moving as if she was given orders, and placed the watch on a nearby table.
The she blinked, and I snatched her phone, tossing it to her.
"You guys can go now." I added, waving my hand in the direction of the door. Oddly enough, they did leave, as if they were hypnotized.
Once the door clicked, I got up and went to bed. The second before I fell asleep, my last conscious thought was, 'What just happened?'
