The next morning, I woke up Summer as usual, Then got dressed.
Then I remembered something from last night.
The watch.
I walked over to the coffee table I had set it on after my hysteria giggling last night.
The thought of me giggling on the border of hysteria made me shudder a little, but I shook it away for now.
I looked at the watch. It seemed to be calling me, beckoning me to come to it.
The moment I picked it up, I could hear whispering.
Most of the words didn't even make sense.
"Time Lord."
"Gallifrey."
"Two Hearts"
Wait- two hearts?!
What does that mean? I asked myself.
Despite how much I wanted to, I couldn't take my eyes off of that watch.
That is until Summer nudged me saying in my ear, "Oi Gabi, snap out of it." She was a little too loud.
I was finally able to take my eyes off of the watch, and I turned to Summer who looked slightly annoyed, but mostly tired.
"Sorry Summer, I was examining it." I lied.
"Do we have classes today?" I asked.
Summer groaned. "I already told you, everyone, well everyone meaning the teachers are too confused and distracted from the murder, so until further notice, us students have been told to treat this week like a weekend."
I nodded, and looked for a safe place for the watch.
"Wow you were really distracted by that watch huh?" Summer said, placing her hand on her hip and still doing her best not to fall over in her wedges, though she had gotten better at balancing over the past two months.
"I still have a bad feeling about that underwater cave though." I said, biting my lip and glancing over at my swim-suit, considering if I should go explore or not.
Summer shook her head no.
"Gabi, to be honest lets just stay in our dorms, I kinda just want a peaceful day with no angel statues or murders, besides we can visit The Doctor." She smiled.
She had said The Doctor in a kind of sing-song voice, causing me to glare at her.
"Shush, I don't wanna risk it." I said, then looked down at my clothes and frowned.
"I got dressed for nothing, didn't I."
"Yep."
I mentally scowled, and took my stilletos off, plopping down on Summer's bed.
"I'm glad we don't have classes today." I said, then yawned. "We were up so late last night." I said, remembering how long Summer and I had spent collapsed on the floor laughing our heads off.
That memory caused me to smile.
But other memories came, some sad, some happy.
My eyes were about to close, when The Doctor and Sherlock opened the door a little to hard, causing it to hit against the wall.
"What was with the hysteria giggling and laughing last night?" Sherlock asked, earning a confused look from the Doctor.
"We were just tired." Summer remarked.
"Looks like the hysteria giggling one still is." Sherlock said, looking towards me.
"You got that right." I said, tiredly.
The Doctor walked over, and bent down so he was eye-level with me.
"Why are you still tired?" He asked jokingly, though I noticed a slight blush.
I yawned. "I'm not a morning person, especially on extended weekends." I said, shoving the Doctor playfully. I glanced over at Summer and she was smirking.
'She totally ships you two.'
'Really? You're just in my head. You should really shut up.'
'Touchy much?'
"Sooooo..." Sherlcok said boredly. "What do you three want to do?"
"Be lazy?" I suggested hopefully. "No angels, no murders, no creepy teachers walking around."
"But that's boring!" Sherlock said.
"Alright then, Curly." Summer sighed, rolling her eyes. "You can show me were the school orchestra pratices, because we've been here for two months and I still don't know."
"Fiiiiiiine." Sherlock huffed. I.snickered about how childish he sounded. As they left, I could hear him say, "And Curly? What kind of nickname is that?"
For a while, there was silence. Then the Doctor laughed a little.
"They are so clueless." he decided.
"No kidding." I smirked. "They have no idea that everyone knows that they like each other."
We laughed about that for a while. There was a comfortable silence between friends. Friends. I hate that word.
'So is this you admitting that you want to be more than friends with the Doctor. Like, you want to date him?'
The voice in my head sounded excited.
"Yes, okay?!" I said outloud. The Doctor, who had moved to sitting right by me, looked at me weirdly.
"Theres... No one here..." he said, confused.
"I know." I said, as casually as I could. "Just talking to the voice in my head.""O...kay?" the Doctor said slowly.
I looked away and mentally cursed myself for my awkwardness.
"Sooo... The Doctor said, trying to make small talk possibly trying to keep me awake.
"I heard the Halloween dance is coming up." I said, popping the "P."
The Doctor blushed a little, and smiled.
"Yup." He replied
I grinned. "Thought of anyone to take yet Doctor." I said, mysteriously.
His blush grew bigger, and I was trying my best to hold in my laughter.
"Oh u-um, well I..." He stammered, making me giggle.
Sadly it still bordered on hysteria, but not as much seeing as the day was going great so far.
The Doctor sighed, and laughed. He finally knew what I was getting at.
"Gabi..." He said, turning on the bed to face me. "...Would you do the honor of going to the Halloween Dance with me?" He asked grinning, but his eyes showed he was nervous.
I smiled.
"Yes Doctor, I would love to come with you to the dance." That was the outside part of me talking.
The inside part however was REALLY excited.
"Oh my gosh! You just got asked to the Dance by your crush!"
"I know! This is like... the Best day of my life!"
Then the Doctor cut into my thinking.
"Just as friends though." He said, smiling.
Outside I smiled and told him it was alright.
Inside I was all like:
"What-?!"
"Ouch. That must've hurt.."
"Shut it."
After that, The Doctor and I spent most of the day watching T.V. or just laying around.
At one point we ended up falling asleep on Summer's bunk, without knowing we'd fallen asleep.
My eyelids just couldn't take anymore of the day.
Though I knew Summer would wake us up with her happy squeals.
Great.
