I was in my kitchen trying to finish some beats I started for London. I started with a sample then added drums and percussions with a piano song bit then finished it up and played it over making little edits until I was done.
A lot had happened in the past few weeks and we were working together a lot more. He even shouted me out on his Instagram and I made a youtube to showcase my beats. I went from 1k followers on Instagram to 14k.
I got my phone out and called London.
"I just finished up the beat I was telling you about. I can come down to the studio today and let you hear it."
"Aite pull up den." He said before hanging up.
I didnt send him my beats anymore because he could be on some shady shit, call me paranoid but until it was official he wanted me to work with him he was not getting my beats.
Apart from practicing my beat making I spent a lot of time reading up on the industry so I understood how it worked instead of depending on him.
I turned my computer off and went in my room to get ready. I put on a brown romper with a cross body bag and brown and white Jordan's
The outfit except the bag is not designer.
After getting ready I put my laptop in my bag them headed to the studio.

"Hello." I said walking into the room. London was there with Lil Durk, I listened to him sometimes since Ki put me on, and another guy with black dreads and this one dude just standing stiff as hell.
"Wassup."
"Yo." They greeted me."Aye Layla this Durk, Booka and Muwop, yall this the shorty I told yall about that made the beats." London said introducing us.
"Oh shit that's you! London been playing them fa us they fire."
"Thank you." I said smiling. "I actually just finished another one." I took my laptop out and started playing it for them.
"Yeaaah." London dragged out smiling. "This one a win for sure. Aye can yall lemme talk to her privately." He said and they nodded before stepping outside.
"Wassup?" I asked taking a seat on the chair next to him.
"You know we been working together for a while and I really see how you been improving all the people I showed your beats to was vibin wit it so I think it's time we work together officially." He said handing me some papers. I looked through it seeing it was a contract for me to work with him making beats.
