Sairat - Symbol Of Love

A huge storm

I am writing this based on a real life experience to a mother that I came across on newspaper...a great salute to her...

It is only two  days left for  sai's surgery...and she is admitted in the hospital...virat is staying with her in room and moharishma in hospital...no one went to sai's room except to give and take things so that sai can rest and spend time with virat ...

Later anushka called virat to her cabin and asked him to listen to sai her fears and tensions...so that her stress will get reduced and thus complication in surgery will also be less...

At evening...sai woken up and virat somehow managed her to finish half bowl of soup...even through sai was a doctor virat sensed a fear within her regarding surgery...so he decided to talk....

Virat:ab kaise lag rahi hoom.(placing hands on her baby bump)...apnea mamma ko sayda pateshan math karna....jab bahar aagenga tab hum dono milkar usay pareshan karenga..

Sai: aap bhi na...

Virat:Mujae lekta hai tum pareshan huu...apnae surgery kae baarae meiim...batavoo mujae... tumari tension cum hojayenga...

Sai:haa mujae daar hai...es bath ki surgery ki bath meiim aapko phir dekpunga ya nahi...mujae aapkae sath...hamara bachae kae sath jeena hai..kya aap surgery ki time mera pass rahongi.. anushka say puchiyae ..please

Virat:teek hai..puchugaa..ab kush...ab smile karo

Sai smiles and nurse comes and check her and also gives iv infusion ....virat asked karishma to take care of sai and he went to meet anushka to ask whether he can accompany sai to OT...she too agreed since sai's  stress will be lessened...later virat came to room...Sonali and bhavani also came to visit her...ashwini stayed in home as she can't see sai in this condition...later at night everyone went home except virat
 

Baby was so active at night...playing in sai's womb...along with sai's fear about baby and surgery....she was not able to sleep... virat sat on sai's bed and made sai to rest in his chest ...virat tried to distract her from pain and make her sleep...but was in vain...her nails pierced his skin...seeing her condition he called the nurse and she injected a small amount of painkiller to keep her calm...her pain was reduced but she couldn't sleep whole night..

Early morning nearly around 3.00 am anushka came to hospital knowing sai's condition...sai was too weak and her blood pressure kept on increasing....she immediately asked to move sai to OT and operation will be began within half an hour...sai also began to lose her consciousness... virat somehow held his courage and called CN and informed them about surgery ...everyone rushed to hospital...meanwhile anushka called virat to cabin.

Anushka:Sai is very weak and baby is premature so we can't give her spinal anesthesia...and aapko ethna pata haina ki agar hum sai ko regional anesthesia nahi de saktae tho hum usay general anaesthesia bhi nahi de saktae...aap samj rahi haena meiim aapko kya kahana chahati hoom

Virat:mujae kuch nahi samjah aa raha hai...agar sai ko anesthesia nahi de saktay tho sai ki  surgery kaisay hogi

Anushka: surgery hoo sakti hai.. bina anesthesia ki...lekin sai koo sara dard sahena hoga

Virat:aapko aataza bhi hai ki aap kya kaha hai. . sai nahi sah pavoogi...ethni mahino say seheti aarahi hoo...

Anushka:virat yeh bath karney ka vakt nahi hai...agar aapko sai aur bachae ko zinda dekna hai tho hamae ye karna hoga...phir bhi chances 50 -50  hai...aap sai ka sath OT meiim rahkar usko samal lijayee...aap bhi apnae aap ko prepare kijaye...Sai OT meiin hogi...acha mr.chavan ab meim chalti hoom

Virat comes out of cabin ...he didn't said anything to family ...he was not in that state...and went to OT...Sai was lying on operation theater..seeing virat she felt more confident

Sai:virat ...aap rahenga na mera sath...lekin mujae   kuch samjch nhi aa raha

Virat:kya huva....batavo mujhae

Sai:Aisay operation meiim itna nurses nahi hota aur mujae anesthesia bhi nahi diya...

Anushka comes prepared for operation

Anushka:sai,tumara weakness ki wajah say hum anesthesia nahi de sakta ...mujay patha hai dard bahut hoga...lekin hamayae ye karna padenga..so we are going to begin...

Sai:virat meiin yeh sahnahi pavoogi...

Nurses came near sai and held her legs and hands tightly...so she will not move...

Virat:(to one nurse)...aap uski right hand choodiyae meiin usay sambaloogi

Anushka made a small cut in sai's abdomen..virat sensed sai's nails pierced his hands too

Sai:aah...

Virat:kuch der aur...sai himat rakho..

Sai:aah...

Sai was trying to move but couldn't...she was trying to get up from bed...virat immediately held her shoulders tightly and ensured she couldn't get up...her screamings were getting louder...and she was becoming more weak ...and sweating too much...after few seconds she was not in a condition even to apply force on people holding her...she was biting her lips as she was not in a condition even to scream...blood started to flow from her lips...seeing this virat placed his fingers on lips and in pain sai bit his fingers so deeply that blood began to ooze out within seconds...

By this time anushka had made the incision on sai's abdomen...now she needs to cut sai's uterus and take baby out...after this much pain...sai began to loss her confidence and her vitals too became unstable....

Anushka:Mr.chavan aap apni patni ko himmat dijayae....usae begosh hona mat digiyae...

Virat was broken into pieces after seeing sai in this condition but didn't allow his emotions to dominate him ...by this time ...virat's hand also turned into pool of blood...he patted sai's cheek

Virat:sai aangae kuli rakna...humari gudiya kuch der meiin ess duniya meim aayigengi....

Sai :Aah...

She tightly held virat's hand and next second she tried to push away virat and nurse who was holding the other hand.... virat tightly held sai making sure she will not even move for few inch ... while doing all this virat's heart was breaking into pieces and tears were flowing from his eyes...

Nurse:aap apnae aapko nahi sabhalegae to sai ko kaisay sambalenge

After a few seconds ...both virat and sai could hear a baby's cry....for a second sai forgot all her pain and was not applying force on others...

Anushka:sai...tumae beti huva hai...nurse clean up the baby and keep her in incubator

Sai:meri bachi....aah

Virat kissed sai's hand and he was not able to hold the tears

...nurse showed baby to sai to bring back her confidence and strength...virat couldn't see her properly... once baby was away...virat felt sai's force on his hands....he once again held her tightly

Anushka checked sai's vital...and everything was getting into normal...by this time sai's uterus was stitched...anushka then asked another doctor to inject painkiller and sedative to sai...after a minute sai's pain got reduced...she felt sleepy due to weakness and medicines injected...her force on others was reducing gradually and finally she slept ...virat then caressed her hair..his tears fell on her cheeks..

Anushka completed sai's surgery...

Anushka:Sai bohot himmat vali hai...aur jis tarah aapnae usay sambhala koi aur nahi kar sakte... aapka  hatho ko puri tarah say chot lag chuka hai...lekta hai stiches karna padega...ab aap bahar jaayae...shaam ko hum sai ko ward meiim shift karenga...aur aapka bacha bhi teek hai.. . kuch weakness hai..lekin kabaranae ka koi baat nahi...

Virat:Teek hai

Virat walked out of OT

Virat was happy with his daughter's arrival...but sai's sufferings flashed in his mind every second as a nightmare...for a moment he cursed himself ..outside OT whole family was waiting... anushka too came outside and said it is a baby girl and both baby and mother is fine...virat didn't talked to anyone and sat on chair some distance away from OT remembering sai's pain ..finally he slept after many days
