THE CITY

Deciding how to play this was going to be difficult, as much as they wanted to keep the guns, they also didn't want to risk hurting Glenn which meant that the group were struggling to agree on anything. Rick led them back inside the safety of the building that they had claimed as their own, settling the bag of guns onto the desk and glancing back at the group members that he had left. Daryl was good with his crossbow but he wasn't good at making decisions, he wanted things to move fast but didn't care about the consequences. T-Dog was more nervous about the guns than anything else, better as a follower rather than a leader; and then there was Isabel, he didn't know what to make of her yet. He didn't know her well enough to make a judgement, he knew that she was hot-headed, that she could handle the walkers but he didn't know whether she could handle the living or if she was just as bad as the Dixon brothers.

"Them guns are worth more than gold, gold won't protect your family or put food on the table." Daryl spat across the room to the unofficial leader, trying to get him to see what his point of view was on this mission. "You willing to give that up for that kid?"

T-Dog had to agree with Daryl on this one, he didn't think that the other group were telling the truth and they could hand over the guns but not get their man back; they could easily be lying about the deal. "If I knew we'd get Glenn back, I might agree but you think that vato across the way is just gonna hand him over?"

"You calling G a liar?"

"Are you a part of this?" Daryl leaned down to the kid that had got involved with this conversation, slapping him across the cheek to shut him up. "You want to hold onto your teeth?"

"Question is, do you trust that man's word?" T-Dog added, making Rick look between the two men because he was struggling to think of how to get around this deal. They needed the guns to protect their own group, their own families but they also couldn't risk the life of someone innocent, not someone that they all liked and trusted.

"No, question is what are you willing to bet on it? Could be more than them guns, could be your life. Glenn worth that to you?"

"You seriously just asked that question?" Isabel shook her head, standing in front of her friend to try and get him to look at her instead of Rick, she could change his mind, it would be hard but she could do it. She knew that Glenn was important to all of them but there was something that made him extra special to her and she wasn't going to leave him with these dangerous people. "Daryl, he's one of us, he's part of our group-"

"Their group."

She narrowed her eyes at the redneck, frowning at what he had just said. "What?"

"He's part of their group." Daryl explained further, pointing his finger threateningly at the other men in the room that were watching them closely. "We're not part of it though, neither was Merle, you think they didn't discuss leaving us behind at one point? Bet they were glad that they left my brother to die, bet they wished all three of us had been chained to that roof!"
