Pep Rally Aftermath (S4, Ep1)
The pep rally being so loud gave me a huge headache so me being forced to go to the counselors office was bad timing. Losing a loved one and your grades dropping really scares the school administrators especially when you're a senior. College was big for me. I've been looking for places out of state which Robin and Nancy have been helping me with. Out of state means leaving Hawkins. I'll finally be able to leave this cursed town. The only problem is telling Steve.
"Allison"
I was pulled out of my thoughts when Ms. Kelly called for me
"Sorry" I apologized messing with my hands
"That's alright " She smiled at me after a few moments she shook her head and grabbed my file
" A C in math and a C- Spanish" She read while looking at me.
"that's not like you Allison before it was A's and B's" I shrugged not looking at her in the eye and messing with the bottom of my cheer skirt
"How have you been" She asked me genuinely concerned
" I'm fine considering my boyfriend died in a fire" I told her as Billy's death kept replaying in my head
"The nightmares"
" Not as frequent" I told her lying as the nightmare I had this morning replaced the image of Billy dying
"headaches" I bit my lip shaking my head
"Have you been drinking" She asked me raising a brow
I squinted my eyes at her "I'm under aged"
"That's not what I asked"
When he first died, that's all I ever did. Steve got me off saying it wasn't healthy so instead of that I kept myself busy whether it was practicing a cheer routine or cleaning up the house but that doesn't mean I don't think about it.
"No I haven't " I told her honestly finally looking at her in the eyes
She sighed "Allison what you've gone through, what you're still going through it's a lot for anyone. And it's okay not to be okay. But I can only be helpful if you're being truthful, if you open up to me." She told me with a small smile
"I have been Ms. Kelly" I really have to fix lying all the time.
she looked at me saying 'I don't believe you'
"I'm being open" I told her my eyes squinting at her almost telling her not to argue with me.
Finally my time was over and I got up and left. I opened the door and walked out bumping into Eddie Munson. Again.
"sorry" He apologize with a smile, The same gorgeous smile that if it wasn't for his reputation every girl would swoon for.
I looked up at him looking at all his features. I never really noticed how attractive he was. If he didn't have 'The freak' name to him he could be another Steve Harrington.
