(S4, Ep 6)

"When we got to shore, I tried calling you guys, but, uh...the walkie was busted, man." Eddie explained take a drink of his beer. "Drenched." I finished

"so, uh, I did the thing I do now, apparently. I ran." Eddie chuckled showing off a fake smile which is cute don't get me wrong but not genuine not like how it was before Patrick's death.

"I dragged Ally with me." Eddie ate a piece of one of the chips the others brought as some sort of "breakfast".

"Do you know what time this was? The attack?" Nancy asked

"Yeah, no I...I know exactly what time it was. My walkie wasn't the only thing that got soaked." Eddie took off his watch tossing it to Nancy. "9:27"

"Same time our flashlights went kablooey" Robin continued.

"Which means what, exactly?" Steve asked, not understanding what the two girls were talking about.

"That...That surge of energy was Vecna attacking Patrick." Nancy stuttered

"Well, we're one step closer." Robin walked closer to the group.

"Closer to what exactly...?" I questioned

"Finding out how Vecna attacks." Robin answered

"And where he attacks from."

"I don't care about the how of that or the why. What I wanna know is how to kill the bastard." I spoke honestly, grabbing Eddie's beer and taking a large sip.

"Hey!"

I ignored Steve's look of disappointment as his jaw slightly clenched at the sight of me drinking and Eddie's disagreement of me drinking his beer.

I put it down next to him, wiping my mouth with the back of my hand.

"Now we just need to sneak into his lair in the upside down and drive a stake through his heart." Max told the group.

"That thing does not have a heart."

"A stake? Is he like a vamp? Is he a vampire?" Steve asked, getting excited at the end. "Do we get to kill a vampire?"

"It was a metaphor." Max defended her words.

"A bullet should work on him, right?" Eddie asked

"I say we chop his head off." Lucas looked at Eddie and I. I pointed at him, "I like that idea."

"I'd say all of the above, but we can't do any of that 'till we find a way into the upside down." Nancy voiced out pretty much in the middle of everyone as the "leader" type of way.

"We need you and el to get your powers back." Max told me frustrated that the two most people who could kill Vecna were as powerless as them.

"How do you plan on that happening? I overloaded them months ago." I told the girl, annoyed.
