The loss of a friend (S4, Ep2)
"Will you stop complaining?" Steve sighed as he starting filling up shelves with movies
"No Steve I will not because you decided to ruin my beauty sleep by waking ME up early" I told him strongly glaring at the back of his head
"what beauty" Steve mumbled under his breath rolling his eyes
"do you wanna repeat Steven" I grabbed his shoulder turning him around his eyes going wide
"no, no i'm good" Steve gulped
I squinted his eyes at him walking away to robin while Steve sighed happy he was alive before following me
"So how's Vicky" I asked her causing her to groan and bang her head against the wall
"Okay forget I asked" I told her stepping back a bit
Robin sighed "I told her the Muppet joke"
"What" I looked at her confused
"When tammy came out I said that she sounded like a Muppet" Robin explained
"oh? and" I asked her wanted to continue while Steve was listening while putting more movie away on their shelve
"Then Vicki laughed. And it wasn't like a cheap, fake laugh either. It was like...It was a real, genuine laugh." Robin explained what happened
"Of course she laughed robin. It's my Muppet joke. It's hilarious" Steve said not seeing the big deal
"My point is that Vicki laughed and everything was just like..it was perfect"
"but?" I asked
"But I'm having this problem where it's like, I should stop talking. I have said everything I need to say. But then I guess I get nervous, and the words keep spilling out, and it's like my..my brain is moving faster than my mouth, or.. or rather my..my mouth is moving faster than my brain. And it's like I'm digging this hole for myself, and I want to stop digging, and I'm trying to stop digging but I can't. And I'm doing it right now, aren't I?" Robin rambled
"Yeah, you are" Steve and I answered her in sync
Robin exhaled and started moving back till she crashed against the wall "Oh, i'm hopeless."
Steve and I followed the suit laying against the wall is standing on both of robins side
"We all are." Steve told the girl staring forward while I hummed in agreement
"if only us three could just, like, combine" Robin did out loud
"combine?" Steve and I asked
"no, think about it. I know exactly what I want, and I've found the girl of my dreams, but I just can't get the courage to ask her out." Robin stared while Steve nodded his head
