Monster Bats
(S4, Ep 7)

I gasped as I lifted my head above the water as Robin put out her hand which I grabbed. When I was there Eddie popped through and we ran forward as we heard stubs screams echo through. We finally saw him use an oar to hit one of the bats on Steve off.

"Hey there." Nancy smacked another one off as robin stepped on a bat so Nancy could hit it with the par.

"Kill it! Kill it!"

"Get it Nance!" I screamed along with Eddie.

Eddie held another oar ready to hit as he cursed when more bats came our way.

I lifted my hand and held it in place for a couple seconds for Eddie to hit with the oar. "Yeah, come on."

Another one was heading towards Nancy. " Nancy watch out!"

Robin went to her aid and started to pull it off.

Another one came straight for me as I held it in place and Eddie smacked it down. "Piece of shit!"

Steve was crawling as the bat was finally off him. I could feel myself staining as I was growing tired of holding the bats in place.

"Come on, come on you son a bitch!" Eddie kept swinging as bats flew past us.

"Go to hell!" Nancy screamed as she finally killed the bat that was on her back.

Steve grabbed the bat that was on his neck by the tail and kept swinging it hard to the ground. He put his foot on the body and ripped it in half spitting blood on his mouth.

"Steve."

"Jesus H. Christ!" Eddie yelled, throwing the oar on the ground in frustration.

I walked to Steve looking at his injuries." Stupid question but are you okay?"

"We'll they took about a pound of flesh but other than that, yeah, never better"

I sighed in relief and hugged him, making him groan in pain. I got off him quickly, "I'm sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry."

"Uh, so you guys think these bats have, like, rabies?" Robin asked, staring at one of the dead bats.

"What?"

"It's just that rabies are, like, my number one greatest fear. And I think we should get you to a doctor like really soon because once symptoms set in, it's too late. You're already like dead." Robin rambled, making my eyes widen and turn at Steve.

"You don't feel any symptoms right?" I asked him

"oh for the love of-" Steve was cut off by the screeching from other bats.

A group of them started heading towards us, stopping not that far away drinking something that was glowing bright red.

"All right. There's not that many. We can take them" Steve stated before a shred of doubt came through, "right?"
