Part 4 Regrets

She stayed silence and heaved a deep sigh.

"Are you alright?"

"I'm fine" she said with no strength in her voice.

"No you're not" I said as she looked at me with eyes full of tears.

"Pabo, don't try to force yourself, just let it out. Cry on my shoulder." I said

"Luhan..." she paused and burst out cyring even more and wrapped her arms around me.

"It's okay, I'm here... with open arms. I'll always be by you side cuz..

I love you" I wanted to say those three words but I was afraid of her reaction and for what would happen with our friendship. I don't want to lose her. Not again. The best way now is to be a friend so I can stay with her and comfort her.

I just finished my sentence with .. I'm your best friend", that being said, it actually kinda hurt me in a way, but I tried to endure it.... for her. I sighed and faced her as she was still looking down. I slowly reached my hand to her chin and made her face me. She's still having teary eyes as one tear drop went down her cheek. I wiped it away with my dumb as I looked deeply into her eyes. I gave her a smile and she managed to smile back too. I let go of her cheek.

"Thank you Luhan, I really need comfort", she said.

I just replied with another smile as she stood up, with her back facing me. She turned around and said "It's time for class, I think I need to go now. I'll be late"

"I'll go with you" I said

I stood up as we walked to our classes, but there's still something going on. She was looking down the whole time as she sighed multiple times ans since I don't wanr to interrupt in her thoughts. I just let her be.

'MeiLing, you go first, I forgot some of my books. I'll see you later in class.'' I said as I stopped walking. She faced me and said ''Ok, I'll see you later'' ''Ne''

Actually I lied to her, but it's the only way to go for a talk with Baekhyun. I have to make this right. I can't take this any longer.

From a far I saw Baekhyunm, flirting th Taeyeon. I approached them and just interrupted their conversation by dragging Baekhyun away, heading to the stairs.

"Yah let go of me. What do you want?" Baekhyun yelled as he untightened himself from my grip.

"We need to talk" I said a bit angrily.

"I don't so move away" he said as he walked away. I stopped him by grabbing his arm and faced fim.

"Let's talk about MeiLing", I said, looking serious.

"Who is MeiLing?" Baekhyun asked

"The girl who always brings you lunchboxes"

"Ah, delivery girl?"

"She has a name" I said as I let go of his arm.

"So, what about her?" he asked

"Have you ever realized something?"

"What?"

"Why she's giving you lunchboxes?"

"I don't know, because she wants to?"

"It's because she likes you?"

After I said that I looked down and sighed

"So what, you want me to date her?" he said, giving me a smirk.

"Yes" I replied without hesitation.

"Bwo?! Are you crazy? You're kidding me right?" he laughed and continued

"Why would I date a girl like her? I don't even like her or even know her"

"Just give her a chance"

"I'm wasting my time"

"Or I'll show everyone your childhood photos" I said as he stopped walking and faced me

"Where did you get it from?" he looked startled

"I did some research" I responded

" You are not getting away with it"

"We'll see" I said as I took a step

"Wait" he said

"I'll think about it, just delete those photos"

"I will....later" I teased him

"But, one question..why do you care so much about her?" he asked

"I want her to be happy. I want her to smile everyday like before. Her smile could make everyone else smile. Even if I think about her, my lips would curve." I said as I brought my memories back.

"What do you mean before?" Baekhyun looked confused

"She had an accident. It caused amnesia. She lost the majority of her memories and she even forgot the names of her friends, including me. That was the hardest time I'd been through. After months she recovered and slowly remembered certain things, but the doctor told me not to bring up memories. He also said that the last person she met shouldn't talk to her and bring their memories back, not that time, because she would get severe headache. So I moved away with my mother. She became very ill and needed me. I didn't have the time to meet MeiLing or even be with her. Now, that I'm back I see that she also moved on. She fell in love with you, so all I want you to do is to make her happy. If you don't, I'll make your life miserable" I warned him

"Why are you telling me this?"

"Because when I send her away, I have to trust you" I said

"Do you perhaps like her?"

"No..........

........

........

I love her"

"Then why don't you tell her?" Baekhyun asked
