Liam's car pulled into the driveway and I stepped outside to meet him.. then I seen my sister get out of the car.
"Uh.. Rain?" I called to her
"He seen me walking home and gave me a ride" she shouted back
"Walking? From where?" I asked as I walked closer to them
Liam opened the back seat and grabbed a bunch of bags out
"I went to the mall. My phone had no service so I couldn't call anyone for a ride home." she explained
"Oh.. well.. Thanks for driving her, Li"
"Sure. I was heading here anyways" he shrugged and carried all the bags past me, into the house
"How much money did you spend?" I asked as I watched Liam take all 12 or 13 bags inside
"Around 180 dollars"
"Damn, sis.. what'd you buy?"
"Clothes."
"Hey-" I caught her arm as she tried to walk past me.
I could tell something was wrong..
"What's up?"
"Bad day, I guess.. Don't really know, I'm just in a funny mood"
"Oh.. well.. How about we have a movie night? Or board games?" I offered, just wanting to cheer her up
"Can Liam stay around? He was quite nice today"
I nodded and pulled her into a hug.
"Sure he can"
