they hugged fiercely. "I am so so sorry. I never should've said that about your artwork, its beautiful. you're beautiful." she pulled away, smiling up at him with tears still flowing. "you know I forgive you. I'll always forgive you babe. I love you please don't forget that while I'm gone." he pulled her into their embrace again, mumbling into her hair about never forgetting the way she moves her lips when she reads, the way she closes her mouth quickly when she knows she shouldn't have laughed in an awkward situation. "I will miss you so much." he whispered before pressing his lips to her forehead, eyelids, cheeks, and finally her lips. "I love you", she whispered. "and I love you." the woman taking boarding tickets came over the loud speaker, announcing that her plane will be leaving shortly and all passengers need to say their final goodbyes. she grabbed her suitcase, kissing him one last time. as she walked away he called to her, "call me when you land, so I know you got there safely!" she stopped, turning to call back, "I promise."
