James pov:

It's been a couple weeks since I helped regulus through his heat, I didn't tell Sirius or anyone really. I'm not sure why, I guess because it was kinda intimate with reg. I'd love to just sit and admire him, I don't really get the chance unless I find him in the library and corner him.

I have to focus on my NEWTS though, because it's my last year at Hogwarts, if I get all my NEWTS I can pick to do any job, I'm not really sure what job I want. Ministry or Auror, I can't pick which one, my father works at the Ministry but I think being an Auror would be fascinating.

I end up in the library a lot more then probably necessary, but I need to make sure I get the highest grades, which means studying a lot and memorizing. Lily, Mary, Marlene and Dorcas are normally all grouped up, Reggie and his friends beside Dorcas don't really have to worry about NEWTs because they're a year younger. I think it's cute he's younger. Sirius is gonna fucking kill me.

"Jamie! James!" Sirius clicks his fingers in my face and sighs. "What?" I look up to find Sirius staring. "You done with the book? Moony needs it." I just blink at him. "You want my book?" He looks so impatient. "Yes, you were spacing out anyway, it's not like your reading it." He rolls his eyes. "What are you daydreaming about anyway?" (Harry styles plug) I can't tell him that I'm daydreaming about his gorgeous little brother, and that I want to smother him in kisses, mate and fill him full of all my little pups. Because Sirius would probably strangle me for thinking that way about his little brother.

"Uh nothing, sorry. Yea just take the book" I hand it over and get up, wandering away from the group to find regulus curled up in a chair with a book in his lap, asleep. He's considerably hidden in a little corner, why isn't he with his friends? God he looks so cute. I gently take the book from his lap, setting it on the table next to him, I push his hair back softly. Regulus' nose twitches and it simple melts my heart, I pick him up carefully and maneuver us away from the group and out of the library.

Reggie curls into my chest, I can't go to his common room because I can't get in, but I can go to my own dorm. I make my way to my dorm, laying him down in my bed softly, but he grips onto me and won't let go so I climb in with him instead. I pull the hangings closed and lay him on my chest, gently playing with his hair.

Regulus pov:

Waking up in James arms again is extremely confusing considering I didn't fall asleep here. Sitting up and looking around, seeing mostly red and gold it's a no brainer, that I'm in James dorm. I look at him and he's asleep, he's beautiful really, the way his eyelashes fan over his cheeks under his glasses, why are his glasses always on when he's asleep? Stupid. His lips look soft and kissable but honestly I shouldn't be here, looking at the time.

"SHIT I'm late for transfiguration!" I spring out of James arms and fumble with the hangings, falling to the ground and whimpering. James is lifting me back on the bed and soothing my ruffled hair. "Slow down little one" James says and opens the hangings. "Stop calling me that! I'm not little." I snap at him. "Wow I'm sorry regulus I didn't- I didn't mean to offend you" James looks so sincere and loving. "No, it's okay, my bad. I just have to go- McGonagall will have my neck" I ramble to him.

"Slow down omega. Breath." James says firmly. It makes me stop and do what he says, breathing is good. "Sorry." I whisper, embarrassed. "It's okay, come on let's get you to class, I'm head boy so I don't think she'll mind if I tell her I was talking to you and held you up." James says, he stands and picks me up and sets me on my feet. I look at him and nod and look to the floor. He takes my hand, and then throws a cloak over my head.
