Hi! It's me, I've been gone a bit but I'm back! At least for this chapter.
Ik that this isn't a very long chapter but it's here.

Regulus pov:

"James stop!" James laughs, while he continues to suck and blow raspberries on my neck and tummy. "James, James! Please" I can't say without giggling. "Bah nh" James looks over at Nash, surprised. "You talking baby? Is my baby talking already? Oh, he's just like his papa" this makes me smile at both of them. "He's so beautiful, just like you." James breaths.

"Sh James, he's prettier than me." James shakes his head and smiles, "no babes, he was made from you and me so he's beautifully made between us. His beauty is yours." That makes my eyes roll. "That's contradictory" he just waves me off. "I'm not excited to go back to school without you" I whisper to James he looks up and lets Nash suck on his finger. "Are you nervous?" James says softly, he picks up Nash and sets him over in his crib that's next to his bed. "In a way, I mean I'm gonna miss you and Nash. Which will hurt. But I'll see you at night right?" thoughts are going a thousand miles a minute. "I know that you are worried. But it'll be fine my love." James whispers, crawling onto the bed over me.

"You think? I mean I know I'll have my friends but it's not the same. And I know you can take care of Nash but I worry." He starts to ramble, all James does is smile and softly lean down to kiss me. "Stop worrying love, I got this. We got this." James whispers, barely an inch from my lips making me smile. "Okay, I believe you." Is all I say back, James slips a hand up my shirt making me hum.

3rd pov

"He doesn't know I'm here, I want it to be a surprise, I leased out an apartment in Hogsmead to trick him, but I think he'll honestly be pleased," James says with a grin, Dumbledore smiles, his half-moon spectacles resting on his nose. "Well I'm glad you decided to help madam Hooch, she could use it, I'm pretty sure you'll mostly be working with the first years," Dumbledore says, with a soft voice. "That's great! I love the little ones, I think that will be great." James beams, honestly he can't sit still.

James is so excited to surprise Regulus with this, he knew that he was really worried about going back to Hogwarts alone. It won't be the same considering Sirius and Remus won't be around, because they have an apartment in London or Peter who lives with his girlfriend. But James is excited for this new chapter of his life with his mate. Because regulus has no idea, he's at Diagon alley to buy some things for his last year. Nash is with Effie so James has the day to plan for Regulus' surprise.

James heads to Hogsmead to buy some books and get decorations for his room at the castle where he and Nash will be staying.
Meanwhile.
"BARTY YOU ARE GOING TO DIE. Get Fucking back here!" Regulus chases Evan down the street from Madam Malkins. Maniacal laughter can be heard from the boy ahead while he runs down the street. Evan and Pandora follow them with mild laughter.

"If you don't take it back I'm never talking to you again," Regulus says to barty while sitting in the ice cream parlor. "It's only the truth- HEY!" Barty yells while regulus shoves his ice cream cone back into his face. "You guys need to calm down" Evan laughs as he licks some ice cream off of Barty's nose, Regulus gags and looks away. He misses James, barty's fat joke early in Malkins made him feel like shit, even if his baby is his best friend and favorite person ever.

Regulus decides to leave early and pick up the rest later, he apparates back to the Potter manor and heads inside. "I'm back! Jamie?" Regulus calls and walks through to the kitchen, he finds Effie with Nash on her hip making curry over the stove. "Hi love, James is out," Effie says handing Nash over to Regulus, he furrows his eyebrows. "He didn't say he had anything today?" Regulus smooths his baby's hair and kisses his head. "I think he went to secure his house in Hogsmead," Effie says offhandedly, this has regulus beaming. "I'm glad he will be close by."
