I completely forgot that I named regulus' bitch cousin Leo, so I had to rename the baby Nash. I think this might be the last chapter? Not sure yet 🤷🏼‍♀️ I hope you all like it!

Sirius pov:

"I didn't- I-" all I can do is look at James, Nash is drooling all over his shirt. "He has the right to be upset pads. He's gone through hell in that family, it wasn't your fault. Neither of you could handle it there, but you had me and he didn't. You got out and he didn't, now he has me but he thinks that he is second best to you. It's hard for me to understand fully because I've never been through what you both have, he's not okay right now pads, he's trying to make it all work but sometimes it gets to him. Just like then. It's not your fault, you just pushed his buttons." That makes me stare at him, watching his facial expression's. "I know, but I could've done more for him- I could've gotten him out too" James mouth goes into a thin line. "Don't do that. Maybe you could but that doesn't change anything."

I should've done so much more for him, I pushed him away once I went to Hogwarts, I chose James over Regulus, I should've never done that to him. "I never should've left him there. That's fact." James watches me critically, Nash sneezes all over him. "I think that I'm gonna go see my man. You should go talk to regulus for me, maybe give him a cuddle too." James laughs and moves Nash down so that he's resting in his arms, sitting up. "Have fun hanging with moony, I'm gonna nap with Nashy" he smiles.

"I'll be back tomorrow, don't know when though." I tell him while getting up, stretching my limbs out. "See ya pads." James says, walking away, to the house. "Tell Effie that I love her cooking!" James just waves me off, going into the house. I walk down the slope in the yard, moving far enough away to apperate to wales, or Remus' front porch, he's sitting on the porch waiting for me, while smoking a cig "I knew that you'd show up sometime soon." His smirk, is deadly.

"How did you know?" Remus smiles. "I know you." Walking over and sitting next to him,  silently asking for the cig. "Are you home alone?" Remus just nods, waving his hand around. "John is at the ministry, I think he lives there, my moms been dead so" he trails off, laying his on my shoulder. He finally hands over the cig and lets me take a hit, my hand snaking into his.

"I'm here now." I whisper to him softly, while he buries himself into my side. "I'm glad" he whispers back.

James pov

Walking into the house while Sirius apperates to Remus' is pretty normal now of days, he's always going over whenever he can. "I love you Nash-y my baby boy, we should go check on mama though." Mum looks up from grabbing a spoon. "Hey boys, where's regulus?" She says while stirring a pot, Nash starts to get fussy. "I think he is upstairs, Nash is getting fussy so I'm heading up, call us when your ready, oh and Sirius is leaving."

Effie waves her hand, saying 'figured' before going back to cooking. Nash starts to cry as I push my bedroom door open, regulus is asleep.
"Shhh Nash shhh mama is asleep." Regulus stirs, Nash starts to cry harder. "Let's see if your nappy needs changed Nashy" we move out of the room and into the bathroom, setting him down and checking his bum. "Yea it's time for a change, then we can cuddle mama" I change him and head back to our room, reg is facing us this time, his eyes are puffy and there's tear tracks down his face. "Oh babes." I can't help but whisper.

Putting Nash in his little crib, while climbing into bed with Regulus. Pulling his body closer to mine. "Hun?" Regulus moves a little humming. "Are you okay?" He doesn't answer, just shakes his head and buries into me more. "How's My baby?" He whispers, opening his eyes. "Our baby, he's good." Our voices are soft, kissing his nose, making him smile softly, he closes his eyes and goes back to cuddling me.
"Dinner is almost ready, do you wanna go down?" Regulus sighs and nods.

Regulus pov

"We should talk about school and the baby." James looks up from blowing on Nash's stomach. "What about it? We're done until next semester," he's smiling and playing with Nash. "I know but I can't take Nash with me, but I can't leave him. Should I not go?" James looks to be thinking, he stares at Nash, then looks up at me. "I mean I have to find a job, But you could leave him with my parents?" My face gives away my thoughts to him practically instantly. "Absolutely not. I want to watch my baby grow. I just won't go, it's not a big deal." James frowns and shakes his head. "No you wanted to finish your schooling." He turns his head and goes quiet for a few minutes, probably thinking.

"I know that I wanted to finish but I don't know how it'll work now Jamie, it's fine honestly. Plus Because of me you didn't even get to walk for graduation." James frowns deeply, shaking his head. "No your going to school, ....hey! What if I get an apartment or something in Hogsmeade." Oh that's a good idea then I can see them all the time. "That's a good idea James." His smile makes me smile back. "Okay then all we'll need to do is ask permission for you to stay down there some nights" James tickles Nash.
