The child was resting in the medical wing and Loona was in extreme guilt of sending humans that weren't part of the war to their death since they didn't realize the truth of the Red Claw. She went to check on the others at their dorm and they were quiet and doing activities passing time.
Nika was hitting the punching bag in the exercise room, and Dasha was making some dinner, as for Krystal she was crying in her bedroom. Loona went to check on her since she knew Krystal wouldn't handle it.
"Krystal?" Loona called when she sat next to her.
"Why? Why do we have to fight the humans in the first place?" Krystal asks.
"Because they attacked us first and they called us abominations before the war." Loona answers.
"Not all humans are evil, there are some that wanted to make peace with us, and we just kill them regardless while we just take their children and place them in cryochambers until the government says so." Krystal says out of anger.
"The war against humanity is over 5 years ago and we are doing the right thing of placing them in our society soon." Loona says.
"What if they don't trust us, after what our ancestors did to them earlier?" Krystal says.
"They trust us, since we rescued some of them already and they are in our care in the human wing." Loona says.
That child... We sent him to monsters that hurt him and took advantage of in a horrible way." Krystal says.
"I know but he is here now, and it won't happen again in the future." Loona says as she pats her on the back."
Krystal wipes her tears and finally stops sobbing. Loona hugged her best friend.
"If it will make you feel better, we can go check on him in the medical wing." Loona says.
"Ok." Krystal says as the headed to go check on the child they rescued in the medical wing.
Meanwhile, Natalya sends off the evidence of Red Claw to President Laura to show the evidence to the government by try to keep it private from the public so they will have the element of surprise of not letting Red Claw know that they were exposed. But they needed more evidence to tried to bust the Red Claw easily and Natalya only had one idea, is to interrogate the child since he is a witness.
"We need one more huge evidence to make the whole government to fully agree to declare war on Red Claw, Chloe."
"Like what General?" She asks.
"We might have to ask the child some questions since he is a witness. But I hope he won't get traumatized easily." Natalya says as she sighed.
"Leave the interrogation to me. I know how to handle children." Chloe says.
"Ok. When he is recovered and well rested tomorrow, we will get some witness evidence."
"Yes General." Chloe salutes before leaving.
As she left the office, she saw Loona and Krystal in the medical room checking on the child. She noticed that what Red Claw done will not be forgiven.
The next day during the afternoon, the child finally woke up and looked around. He was a little scared and he tried to get out of the bed the medic pulled him back into the bed.
