Chapter 5: Sentinel Base

I was in a deep sleep, barley heard faint voices and the sound of helicopter blades. I barley felt the sunlight on my face, and I felt being carried out on something and was taken inside.

"Take him to Dr. Kimberly." Loona commanded as the a few medics moved me to the medical wing.

"Well. Did we just capture the furry slayer or was it just an illusion?" Nika asked.

"Did you hit your hit your head too hard?" Dasha asked.

"I just got thrown into a tree."

"Well, we better head to the medic to patch up. Krystal why don't you go to report to General Natalya for our mission?"

"On it." Krystal says as she walked to the office.

Natalya was in deep thought about finding out the truth of Red Claw and she felt extreme guilt of believing that they would help humans have refuge but uses her to send humans to their death.

FLASHBACK...

She remembered that when during the war. She seen human children crying while being sedated and being loaded into trucks to be taken to the sentinel base to be preserved into cryo-chambers until the war is over. She never liked the idea of killing off human adults, but the furry president believe that it would change humanity from corruption. Natalya then headed to the next street and the human adults tried to fight back and barricade their home from them entering. It didn't stop them; she sent a Wolf soldier to my home and shot my father before he tried to shoot back. My mother was unarmed but he killed her anyway. I was hiding in the sink cabinet crying while holding a knife in my hand.

The wolf was searching for me, but I was ready to avenge my parents. They had nothing to do with the war. They weren't even part of the fur hunter community. When the Wolf soldier wasn't looking, I stabbed him in his testicles from behind. I heard him scream in agony and I stabbed him multiple times on the leg to make him lose his balance. He tried to grab my arm, but my PTSD make me stab his eyes out and then I finished him off with multiple stab wounds. I heard Natalya ran inside and saw me covered in blood breathing heavily. I took no chances and ran out the back door.

"Hey! Stop!" Natalya shouted as she chased after me.

I ran down the creek and tried to lose her. She was fast and almost had me. But I went in deep in the wood and jumped in a lake. The blood was washed off me and I swam out and hid behind a few branches. Natalya looked around and tried to look for me, but she went the wrong way, and I was able to get away.

END OF FLASHBACK...

She was in extreme guilt of killing the human children's parents, but she understood that the cycle of human corruption had to end somehow for peace. And now she had to save the rest of humanity from Red Claw. She heard Krystal coming in and got out of her deep thoughts.

"Hello Krystal. How did it go?" Natalya asked.

"We were able to expose Red Claw secrets and capture Sargent Bill and a few Red Claw soldiers for interrogation and um we have captured the Furry Slayer." Krystal explains.

"What?!" Natalya asked as she stood up from her desk.

"Yes. He tried to kill General Floyd as well but that failed but we have the Furry Slayer into our medical solitary rooms and Dr. Kimberly was able to patch him up." Krystal explains.

"Ok. When the furry slayer wakes up. Take him to interrogation room 6. I'll handle the interrogation." Natalya commanded.

"You sure General? He is suffering from severe PTSD and Bipolar disorder."
