I was so happy when I heard na may family dinner daw kaming magpipinsan kasama sina ate Tori. Namimiss ko na kasi siya. Matagal tagal na din kaming hindi nahmgkikita. Dati sobrang close namin pero hindi ko rin alam ng bigla nalang niya akong iniwasan at sinungitan.

She's like a big sister to me before. And I miss those day. Not like now. Everytime we meet she ignored me. She always rolls her eyes on me.
And treating me like I don't exist.

But I don't hate her for that. I also convince myself that she doesn't mean anything she show towards me now. She's still the ate Tori I know before.

I was fixing my clothes at my room when someone knocked and entered.

" Gwapo naman ng binata ko" it was dad. He's smiling at me. Sumandal siya sa hamba ng pintuan. He was wearing a formal attire and was ready.

I also smiled and look at him. " Mana sayo dad"

Lumapit siya sakin ng mapansin na hirap ako sa pag-tie ng nectie ko. He hold it and started tying.

" 14 years old kana. Pero binatang binata kana. Time flies so fast" nangingiyak ngiyak na naman niyang sabi.

He always does this every time. Lagi niyang sinasabihan na lalayasan ko na daw siya. But I would never do that. And dad bata pa po ako. Though I'm a little mature but I'll always be your young handsome child. I will never leave you cause your the only family I have. I will keep my promises to mom that I'll always stay by yourside kahit wala na siya. She left us first and went to heaven. But she did not left us . She at our heart forever and always.

" Dad you think ate Tori.... Sa tingin mo she'll be happy that I'd be there" mahinhin kong sabi saka yumuko.

He finished tying my nectie and look at me. " Of course she'll be. Alam mo naman yung pinsan mo, she has a short temper gaya ganun siya. But you know how much she cares for you diba"

I smiled, " I know. But I would be very happy kapag yung bond namin....parang noon. Miss ko na kasi yung dating siya. The one who always smile and never ignore me...."

He tapped my shoulder and reassured a smile. " Maybe she's just so busy . Alam mo naman kapag nagmamature ang tao... Ganun din yung dad niya noon. Pero tignan mo bumalik din sa pagiging mabait. It just needs time. "

I nodded and smiled. I know I longed to have a bond before with her. Pero kailangan ko din intindihin ang sitwasyon niya. People change and I need to get used to that. As dad finished helping me he told me that the car would be waiting outside.

I sat down my study table and stared at the picture frame. Where me and ate Tori was in it. Smiling innocently like the world was still a fun place to us. It was way back when I was 5 years old and she was 9 . Sobrang close namin dito dati. She always visit our house and play with me. Siya lang din ang kakampi ko noon pag pinapalo ako ni lolo. She's very smart and strong that's why I always wanted to be like her. Kahit maiinitin ang ulo niya she'll be nice to someone she's really close with. Kaya I don't approve those people who always call her cold-hearted. They judge her easily without even knowing her.

Pagkatapos nagayos bumaba na ako ng kwarto. Dad's already waiting outside. Naka ready na din yung car. He even took a picture of me standing at the door. He captured it without me knowing.

" You know just capturing memories" he excuse then smile teasingly.

Hinayaan ko nalang siya. This is what makes him happy and I don't want to take it away from him. Kaya hinahayaan ko siyang bini-baby niya ako. Since I'm his only son.
