I was working at a local coffee shop in Atlanta, I knew that they were filming the newest season of Stranger Things close by but I didn't think anyone would come to our small town coffee shop, I was finishing serving a customer their drink when my coworker Sage taps me on the shoulder " Hey look at the customer that just walked in" she whispered "He's so your type, you should ask him". " What no Sage that's ridiculous" I say before greeting the customer
"Hello welcome to Social Barista how can I help you today?" I say greeting the customer "shit Sage was right he is cute" I thought to myself
"Yes hi can I get a tea with two sugars and a cream" he says with the most beautiful British accent I've ever heard
" Of course you can! would that be all today?"
"Yes, thank you" he exclaims
"Alrighty may I have your name for your order please?"
"Of course the name is Joseph" he smiles
"Alrighty your total is $4.17" I smile
Joseph grabs a $10 out of his and hands it to "keep the change" he says with a smile on his face
"Thank you so much your tea will be ready shortly" I say as we exchange a smile.
I started making Joseph his tea adding the sugar and tea, I handed it to him "Thank you" he says "Have a nice day" I say as he walks out of the cafe.
Sage says "He's cute isn't he?" "Okayyyy fine you were right he's pretty cute" we both share a laugh as we continue to serve the customers.
----------Time Skip To Closing--------
Sage left for the day so I was finishing up closing the cafe when I heard someone come in I was in the back sweeping up when I heard a familiar voice echoing "Hello, is anyone there?" wait a minute that's Joseph from earlier.
" You're from earlier right one tea, two sugars and cream?" I say
"The one and only" Joseph chuckles
"Is there anything I can do for you, were about to close I can give you a pastry if you'd like?" I ask him
"Actually there is, I was wondering if you wanted to go out for a bite sometime"~ That made me smile and give me butterflies
"I would love that" we both smile as, I grab a piece of paper jotting down my phone number for him "Thanks he says as he leaves the coffee shop. As I lock the door to the shop I get a notification on my phone

I put my phone against my chest, butterflies are filling my stomach
